Chests of Cai Shen Infinity slot by Pragmatic Play — game artwork

The Chests of Cai Shen Infinity demo gives you Pragmatic Play’s third pass at a money-collect respin it has been refining since 2024, and the honest summary is that it is a tweak rather than a rebuild. The headline RTP is 96.50%, published by Pragmatic itself, which puts it half a point above the industry reference. The new parts are a fourth chest and a four-tier jackpot ladder. Everything underneath — money symbols that lock, a respin counter that resets, coins that buy modifiers — is the machinery of the first two games. What makes this page worth reading is what is not settled: Pragmatic publishes no maximum win, no volatility rating and no payline count for Infinity, and the figures filling that gap elsewhere on the web come with problems this review sets out rather than repeats.

Pragmatic Play · The third Chests of Cai Shen game, after the 2024 original and Chests of Cai Shen 2. The original and the sequel both run the same money-collect respin; Infinity adds a fourth chest and a four-tier jackpot ladder on top of it.

Top line payUnconfirmed — 15,000× is claimed, not publishedPragmatic publishes no maximum win for this game. The 15,000× figure in circulation is exactly Chests of Cai Shen 2’s published cap, which is a reason to treat it as inherited rather than measured.
JackpotFour tiers — Mini, Minor, Major, GrandPragmatic’s own game page for Infinity documents one value: filling every position with money symbols ends the round and awards an additional 5,000× prize. The Mini, Minor and Major amounts quoted elsewhere are carried over from the 2024 original and are not published for this game.

More on the figures above. The 96.50% RTP, the four coin modifiers, the three-respin start, the sticky money symbols worth up to 150×, the multiplier zones worth up to 100× and the 5,000× grid-fill prize all come from Pragmatic Play’s own game page for this title. The high volatility rating, the 25 paylines, the 5×3 grid, the two bonus-buy prices and the 26 October 2026 release date are third-party only — Pragmatic publishes none of them. Pragmatic publishes no maximum win. The 15,000× figure repeated across listings is identical to Chests of Cai Shen 2’s published cap, so it is quoted here as a claim and not as a specification. A name warning: this game is listed in some lobbies and feeds as “Chests of Cai Shen – Eternity”. Pragmatic’s own page titles it “Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity”, and the artwork file shipped with the game is named Chests-Of-Cai-Shen-Infinity. It is one game, not two.

How the game plays

Coin symbols drop into four chests sitting above the reels. Land at least one and the bonus can trigger; Pragmatic says coins can also start the round at random, so there is no scatter count to watch. The feature opens with three respins and runs on money symbols: each one that lands sticks in place and resets the counter back to three. When the respins finally run out, every money symbol on screen pays at once and the round ends. The chests are what separate this from a stock hold-and-win. Each coin colour fires a different modifier, and the fourth chest is the addition that gives the game its name.

The story behind the game

The first Chests of Cai Shen arrived in October 2024 with a 96.47% headline and a 10,000× ceiling. Chests of Cai Shen 2 followed with 96.50% and a 15,000× cap, a longer four-respin start, and otherwise the same shape. Infinity landed on 26 October 2026 as the third entry. The lineage matters for one practical reason: the first two games both shipped in several certified RTP builds, with the original listed at 96.47%, 95.47% and 94.47% depending on the operator. Pragmatic has published only the single 96.50% figure for Infinity, but the series history is a reason to open the in-game information screen rather than assume.

Wildreels 2–5 only; does not substitute for coins or money symbols

The wild restriction is worth a second look. It appears on reels 2 to 5 only and substitutes for nothing that matters in the bonus — not the bonus coins, not the money symbols. In a game whose whole top end runs through money symbols, the wild is a base-game device and nothing more.

Bonus features and free spins

💎

Four chests, four coins, four jobs

The green coin raises the value of three money symbols during the feature. The blue coin drops four multiplier zones onto the grid, worth up to 100×. The purple coin adds a respin. The red coin moves the whole feature onto two 5×3 grids at once. The fourth is the quad coin, which can fire one to four of those modifiers together — and it is the quad that is new to Infinity.

🎯

A respin counter that refuses to run down

Three respins is a short leash, but every money symbol that lands puts it back to three. The round therefore ends not when a fixed number of spins is used up but when the reels go quiet, which is the standard hold-and-win contract and the reason these games can run very long or stop almost immediately.

💰

The 5,000× grid fill, published and real

Fill every position with money symbols and the round ends with an additional 5,000× prize. This is one of the few hard numbers Pragmatic puts in writing for Infinity. It is worth separating from the 15,000× figure circulating as a maximum win, which Pragmatic does not publish at all.

💸

Two buy prices, both third-party

Listings report a 100× Fulfilment buy at 200× the total bet and a 100× Quad buy at 750×. Those prices are not on Pragmatic’s page. A 750× entry fee is an enormous commitment on any game, and on one whose ceiling is unpublished it is a bet placed without knowing what is being bought.

⚠

Sticky money symbols up to 150×

Money symbols land with values attached and become sticky when they appear during the bonus, resetting the respin count as they do. Pragmatic states values reach 150×. Note that the 150× figure also circulates as the game’s “Major jackpot” value, which is a different claim about the same number.

What we like

  • 96.50% RTP published by Pragmatic itself, half a point above the 96% reference and stated as a single figure rather than a ladder.
  • A documented 5,000× grid-fill prize — a hard number from the studio in a game where most figures are not.
  • The quad coin is a genuine addition, able to fire up to four modifiers in one go rather than the single modifier the earlier games allowed.
  • The respin reset gives the round real length, with no fixed spin budget to exhaust.
  • Multiplier zones up to 100× stack on top of money values up to 150×, so the arithmetic of a strong round is not purely additive.
What to watch

  • Pragmatic publishes no maximum win, and the 15,000× figure filling that gap is exactly the published cap of Chests of Cai Shen 2.
  • No official volatility rating for this game. The “high” label everywhere is a third-party reading.
  • The paylines are genuinely disputed — 25 lines in one listing, “All Ways” in the feed’s own information panel.
  • The Mini, Minor and Major values quoted around the web belong to the 2024 original, not to Infinity, and are reprinted as though they carried over.
  • It is a series tweak, not a new game. A fourth chest and a jackpot ladder sit on machinery two games old.
  • Some lobbies and feeds call it “Eternity”, which makes the correct game surprisingly hard to find by name.

How Chests of Cai Shen Infinity compares

Against the two games it descends from, and the Pragmatic money-collect title that defined the mechanic. Every “not published” below is Pragmatic’s silence, not a gap in this review.

The table makes the problem visible in one line. Infinity and Chests of Cai Shen 2 share an RTP, a volatility reading and a payline count — and the 15,000× attributed to Infinity is the figure printed on the row above it. That is the single strongest reason to treat the ceiling as unconfirmed until Pragmatic states one.

Chests of Cai Shen Infinity RTP, volatility and max win

96.50% is Pragmatic’s own published figure and it is a good one — half a point clear of the 96% reference most of this catalogue sits against, and a hundredth above the 2024 original. It is also published as a single number, with no operator-selectable ladder listed alongside it. That last point deserves a caveat rather than trust. Both earlier Chests of Cai Shen games shipped in several certified builds, the original running at 96.47%, 95.47% and 94.47% depending on which casino served it, and a studio that has done that twice in a series may do it a third time without announcing it. The information screen inside the game is the only place that answers the question for the build you are actually playing. On volatility, Pragmatic states nothing. The “high” reading is third-party and it is plausible on the shape of the game — a short three-respin leash, prizes concentrated in sticky money symbols, and most spins returning nothing while the chests fill. Hold-and-win games of this design normally pay rarely and large. But plausible is not published, and this page will not print a 5-out-of-5 rating the studio never gave. The maximum win is the sharpest gap. Pragmatic documents a 5,000× grid-fill prize and money symbols up to 150×, and it documents no total cap at all. The 15,000× circulating as Infinity’s ceiling is identical to Chests of Cai Shen 2’s published figure. It may well be right. It is also exactly what an inherited number looks like, and nothing available supports it independently.

Bets, bankroll and session planning

Listings report a minimum around $0.10 and a maximum of $250, though the same sources contradict themselves on the floor, giving $0.25 elsewhere in the same article. Pragmatic publishes no bet range for Infinity, so no figure is stated here as fact.

Playing on mobile

Built portrait-first like the rest of Pragmatic’s recent output, and the demo above runs in a phone browser without an app or a download. The four chests sit above the reels, which is the one piece of layout that has to survive the narrow viewport — and it does, at the cost of a smaller grid.

Five things to know before you spin

  1. Open the information screen first. It is the only place that confirms the RTP build you have been served and whether this operator runs 96.50% or something lower.
  2. Do not plan around 15,000×. Pragmatic has not published a maximum win for this game, and the figure in circulation belongs to the previous title.
  3. There is no trigger to chase. Coins can start the bonus at random, so counting symbols tells you nothing here.
  4. The quad coin is the one that matters. It can fire up to four modifiers at once, and it is the only part of the feature set that is genuinely new to Infinity.
  5. Treat the 750× buy with suspicion. It is a third-party price for entry into a round whose ceiling the studio has not stated.
  6. If your casino lists “Chests of Cai Shen – Eternity”, that is this game. The name is wrong in several feeds.

Chests of Cai Shen Infinity demo and slot FAQ

Can I play the Chests of Cai Shen Infinity demo for free?
Yes. The demo on this page runs the full game on play credits — the same four chests, the same coin modifiers and the same respin round. No account, no deposit, no download.
What is the RTP of Chests of Cai Shen Infinity?
96.50%, published by Pragmatic Play as a single figure. Be aware that the two earlier games in the series shipped in several certified builds, the original at 96.47%, 95.47% and 94.47%, so check the in-game information screen for the build your casino serves.
What is the maximum win?
Pragmatic does not publish one. The 15,000× figure repeated across listings is identical to the published cap of Chests of Cai Shen 2, which is a good reason to treat it as inherited. What Pragmatic does document is a 5,000× prize for filling every position with money symbols.
How volatile is it?
Pragmatic gives no official rating. Third-party reviews call it high, which fits the design — a short respin leash with the value concentrated in sticky money symbols — but it is a reading rather than a published number.
How many paylines does it have?
The sources disagree. One review lists 25 paylines paying left to right; the game feed’s own information panel lists “All Ways”. Pragmatic states neither on its game page.
Why do some casinos call it Chests of Cai Shen – Eternity?
A naming error in the distribution feed. Pragmatic’s own page titles the game “Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity”, and the artwork file shipped with it is named Chests-Of-Cai-Shen-Infinity. Eternity and Infinity are the same game.
What is different from Chests of Cai Shen 2?
A fourth chest and a four-tier jackpot ladder. The quad coin, which can fire up to four modifiers at once, is the substantive addition. The underlying money-collect respin is the same one the series has run since 2024.
Is there a bonus buy?
Third-party listings report two: a 100× Fulfilment buy at 200× the total bet and a 100× Quad buy at 750×. Neither price appears on Pragmatic’s own page, so treat both as unconfirmed.

Our verdict on Chests of Cai Shen Infinity

7.2/ 10

A good game with a number problem that is not its own fault

Chests of Cai Shen Infinity is a competent third entry in a series that was already working. The 96.50% RTP is genuinely above average and comes from Pragmatic rather than from an aggregator, the quad coin adds something the first two games did not have, and the respin-reset structure gives rounds a length that short bonus games rarely manage. As a game, it earns its place. The difficulty is everything around it. Pragmatic has published an RTP and a 5,000× grid-fill prize and then stopped — no maximum win, no volatility rating, no payline count — and the vacuum has been filled by figures borrowed from the previous title in the series. A 15,000× cap that happens to be Chests of Cai Shen 2’s exact published number, jackpot values lifted from the 2024 original, and a payline count that two sources cannot agree on do not add up to a specification. None of that makes Infinity a bad game. It does mean that the only trustworthy source for what you are playing is the information screen inside the demo above, and that anyone quoting you a ceiling for this title is quoting something Pragmatic has not said. Play it for the mechanic, which is good. Do not play it for a headline number that does not yet exist.
