This policy explains what retrigger.club collects about you, which third parties see it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and it describes what the site actually does today.
retrigger.club is an independent information and comparison website about slot games and the online casinos that carry them. We are not a gambling operator. We do not accept wagers, hold player funds or operate games, so we never hold a betting account, a deposit, a withdrawal record or a payment card. Every game on this site runs in play-money mode.
When you follow a link from here to a casino you leave this site. From that point the operator is responsible for your data under its own privacy policy, and we have no access to your account with it.
If you contact us, we receive whatever you put in your message and the address you sent it from, and we keep it long enough to deal with the enquiry. If you subscribe to browser notifications, your browser is issued an identifier so the service knows a subscription exists. There is no account to register on this site and no newsletter to join.
Like almost every website, our hosting and caching layer records requests: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp. Our analytics tools record which pages are read, how a visitor arrived, how long they stayed and where they left. We use this in aggregate, to understand which pages are worth writing more of.
We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.
These are the same tools listed on our Cookie Policy, where what each one stores is described in more detail. Each processes data under its own terms:
One thing in progress, stated plainly. Automatic script-blocking is still being switched on for this site. Until it is fully active, some analytics may load before you have made your cookie choice. We would rather say so here than imply a protection that is not yet fully in place.
Where the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR apply, we rely on two bases. Consent covers analytics and notification cookies, which is what the consent panel asks you for and what you can withdraw at any time. Legitimate interests covers the strictly necessary parts of running a website: serving pages, keeping the site secure and keeping server logs. We do not rely on consent for anything you cannot actually turn off.
Outbound links to operators pass through a /visit/ redirect on this domain before forwarding you on. That redirect lets the operator attribute the visit to us, which is how the site is funded. The operator may then set its own cookies, placed by the operator under its own policy and not by us. We never see what you do once you are on its site — not your account, not your deposits, not your play. Our Affiliate Disclosure sets out the commercial side in full.
Messages you send us are kept while the enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are rotated by our host. Analytics data is retained by Google and Yandex under each provider’s own default retention settings, which they control rather than us; their policies, linked above, state what those are. We do not maintain a separate database of visitors.
Some of the processors above operate outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Yandex Metrica in particular processes data on infrastructure outside the UK and EEA. If that matters to you, rejecting non-essential cookies in the consent panel stops it, and the browser controls described in the Cookie Policy stop it independently of us.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how it is processed, to withdraw consent at any time, and to ask for it in a portable form. In practice we hold very little that is tied to an individual — most of what this site collects is aggregate analytics — but you are entitled to ask, and we will answer.
Two things you can do immediately without contacting anyone: change or withdraw your cookie choice through the consent panel, and block or delete cookies in your browser. If you are in the UK you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA, to your national data protection authority.
This site is for adults aged 18 or over, or older where the legal gambling age where you live is higher. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not. What we can say is that we hold no payment details, no gambling account credentials and no deposit history, because we never take them in the first place.
If we add or remove a tool that handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
Questions about your data, or any of the rights above, can be sent through our contact page. See also our Cookie Policy, which covers the storage side in more detail.
