Fishin' Frenzy Even Bigger Fish slot by Blueprint Gaming — game artwork

The Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish demo is the free, no-signup version of Blueprint Gaming’s late-2024 sequel to Britain’s most familiar money-collect slot — six reels, 4,096 ways, cash fish collected by Frankie the fisherman, and a 10,000× ceiling. Blueprint publishes its RTP ladder openly on its own site, and that is where the problem is: the builds are 95%, 93% and 92%, and the best of those is below the worst Pragmatic ships. Play it free here, then read the RTP section before you play for money.

The Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish demo runs the real game on play money — the same 4,096 ways, the same collect symbols, the same Fish Picker. No download, no account, no deposit.

Use it to answer a specific question: how often does a Collect symbol actually land on reel six while cash fish are in view? That conjunction is the entire game. Cash symbols without a collect are worth nothing, and Blueprint publishes no hit frequency for this title, so the demo is the only way to get a feel for the rate. Two hundred free spins will tell you more than the feature list does.

JackpotNoneNo jackpot, fixed or progressive. The cash symbols and the Golden Fish pay from the paytable; nothing is taken from your stake to fund a pool.

How the game plays

This is a six-reel slot paying 4,096 ways, which SlotCatalog records as bothway — combinations count from the left and from the right. There are no fixed paylines; matching symbols on adjacent reels pay regardless of row.

The money-collect mechanic is the whole design and it works on a conjunction. Cash symbols — the fish — land on reels one to six carrying printed values. They pay nothing on their own. When the special Frankie Collect symbol lands on reel six, it collects the value of every cash symbol in view and pays the total. Fish without Frankie are a tease; Frankie without fish is nothing.

Blueprint layers unlocks on top. Up to three different special Collect symbols can be unlocked, as can the Golden Fish, which accumulates all cash prizes in view before being collected rather than collecting them directly. The practical effect is that the collect side of the conjunction becomes more likely and more valuable as a session develops.

The free games are reached through The Big Splash, which activates a Fish Picker. The fish you pick reveal upgrades to the feature — extra spins, or high-paying symbols being converted into cash symbols for the duration. That second upgrade is the one that matters: turning premiums into fish directly feeds the collect mechanic.

Blueprint puts the stake range at £0.10 to £25.00, which is a quarter of the ceiling Pragmatic and Nolimit allow and worth knowing before you read 10,000× as a large number in money.

The story behind the game

Fishin’ Frenzy is one of the most recognisable slot brands in the United Kingdom, and it is a Blueprint house staple in the way Big Bass is Pragmatic’s. The studio lists the family explicitly on this game’s own page as Fishin’ Frenzy, King Kong Cash and Even Bigger Bananas — three separate brands sharing the same money-collect DNA.

Even Bigger Fish is the 4,096-ways expansion of the format, and the marketing line on Blueprint’s page is “this game is off the hook”, which tells you roughly the register the whole thing operates in.

The release date is genuinely unsettled, which is unusual for a game this prominent. Blueprint’s own page dates it 31 October 2024. BigWinBoard published its review on 28 October 2024. SlotCatalog records 29 January 2024 — nine months earlier. We quote the studio, but three sources giving three dates on a major release from a major studio is worth noting rather than smoothing over.

What makes this game worth covering despite a modest score is that Blueprint does something almost unheard of: it publishes the actual build IDs and their RTPs on the public game page. Not “RTP ranges exist” — the literal strings BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish92, 93 and 95 with their percentages. Every other studio on our review list either prints one number or prints none.

Symbols and paytable

Blueprint publishes the mechanics, the ways count, the stake range, the max win and the full RTP ladder on its own page, but not individual symbol values. What follows is what the studio and the databases actually state — attributed, with nothing reconstructed.

4,096 waysSix reels, bothway per SlotCatalog — combinations pay from the left and from the right. No fixed paylines.
Cash symbols (the fish)Land on reels one to six carrying printed values. They pay nothing by themselves; they wait to be collected.
Frankie Collect — reel 6 onlyWhen it lands on reel six it collects the value of every cash symbol in view. The conjunction of fish plus Frankie is the entire game.
Up to 3 special Collect symbolsUnlockable during play, increasing how often and how well the collect side of the conjunction fires.
Golden FishAccumulates all cash prizes in view before being collected, rather than collecting them outright.
The Big Splash → Fish PickerUnlocks the free games. Picked fish reveal upgrades — extra spins, or high-pay symbols converting into cash symbols for the round.
Certified RTP builds95% / 93% / 92%, published by Blueprint on its own page with the build IDs attached.
Stake range and ceiling£0.10 to £25.00 per Blueprint. Maximum win 10,000×, with no published probability.

What is not published anywhere: individual symbol values, hit frequency, free spins frequency, and the probability of reaching 10,000×. Blueprint is open about its RTP ladder and silent about everything else, which is an odd combination — it is transparent about the number that looks worst and quiet about the ones that might look better.

Bonus features and free spins

🐟

A mechanic built on a conjunction

Cash fish pay nothing alone. Frankie Collect pays nothing alone. Value only exists when a collect symbol lands on reel six while fish are in view — which makes this a game about two things happening at once, not one.

🎰

Three unlockable Collect symbols

Up to three special collect symbols can be unlocked during play, plus the Golden Fish which accumulates the values in view before collecting. The collect half of the conjunction improves as a session runs.

🎣

The Fish Picker upgrades the round

The Big Splash unlocks free games via a picker. Picked fish award extra spins, or convert high-paying symbols into cash symbols for the feature — the second of which directly multiplies how much the collect mechanic has to work with.

⚠

A top build of 95%

Blueprint publishes 95%, 93% and 92% by build ID. The best version of this game returns less than the worst version of any Pragmatic title we have reviewed, and the worst keeps eight pounds per hundred staked.

💵

A £25 ceiling on the stake

Blueprint caps the bet at £25 against €100 for Nolimit and Pragmatic. 10,000× at £25 is £250,000 — a quarter of what the same multiplier is worth on the other games in this batch.

What we like

  • Blueprint publishes the complete RTP ladder with build IDs on its own public page. Almost no studio does this, and the honesty is real even though the numbers are poor.
  • 4,096 bothway ways on six reels is a generous, readable format with nothing to trace.
  • The unlockable collect symbols and the Golden Fish give a session a sense of progression rather than resetting at every spin.
  • The Fish Picker’s symbol-conversion upgrade meaningfully changes the feature rather than just adding spins.
  • One of the most recognisable slot brands in Britain, executed competently — you know exactly what you are getting.
What to watch

  • A best-case RTP of 95%, and builds at 93% and 92% in circulation. The top build here is below the bottom build on every Pragmatic game we have reviewed.
  • No published hit frequency, no free spins frequency and no max-win probability. Blueprint is open about the RTP and silent on everything that would let you plan a session.
  • Three sources give three different release dates — 31 October 2024 (Blueprint), 28 October 2024 (BigWinBoard), 29 January 2024 (SlotCatalog).
  • A £25 stake cap makes the 10,000× headline worth a quarter of the same multiplier elsewhere in this batch.
  • The volatility rating is contested: BigWinBoard says High, SlotCatalog says medium-high, and Blueprint’s own page leaves the field blank.

How Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish compares

The RTP column is the reason this review exists. Figures are each studio’s own where published, otherwise BigWinBoard:

GameStudioBest buildWorst buildMax winMax stake
Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger FishBlueprint95%92%10,000×£25
Crabbin’ For ChristmasBlueprint95%92%2,500×£20
Golden ShowerNolimit City96.04%92.08%19,999×€100
Sugar RushPragmatic Play96.50%94.50%5,000×100
Gates of Olympus 2500Pragmatic Play96.52%94.50%25,000×240

Read the two RTP columns across the table. Blueprint’s best build, 95%, is lower than Pragmatic’s worst, 94.50%… by half a point, and lower than Nolimit’s top by a full point. Put differently: on the games in this batch, a player handed Blueprint’s best version is still getting a worse deal than one handed Pragmatic’s middle version.

The max-stake column compounds it. A 10,000× ceiling capped at a £25 stake is £250,000; the same multiplier on Gates of Olympus 2500’s 240 cap would be 2.4 million. Headline multipliers are not comparable across studios unless you read the bet cap next to them.

None of which makes this a bad game — the collect mechanic is well built and the brand is popular for a reason. It makes it an expensive one.

Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish RTP, volatility and max win

Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish is published at more than one RTP. Blueprint publishes these by build ID on its own public page, which is unusually open. The transparency is genuine and so is the problem: a top build of 95% is below Pragmatic’s lowest certified level on every title we have covered. Check the information screen — on this game you may be on 92%.

95%BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish95 — the best build Blueprint ships, and lower than the worst build Pragmatic ships on any game we have reviewed.
93%BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish93 — two points below the top.
92%BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish92 — three points below. Eight pounds per hundred staked goes to the house.

Blueprint Gaming publishes the full ladder on its own game page, by build ID:

BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish9595% — the best build in circulation
BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish9393%
BP_FishinFrenzyEverBiggerFish9292% — eight pounds per hundred staked to the house

Credit where it is due: publishing the certified builds with their identifiers, on the public page, is something Pragmatic, ELK and Nolimit all decline to do. Blueprint is being straightforwardly honest here.

And the thing it is being honest about is bad. 95% is the ceiling. Every Pragmatic game we have reviewed has a bottom build of 94.50%, which means the best version of this slot is barely better than the worst version of theirs — and if your casino runs the 92% build, you are giving up four percentage points against Pragmatic’s top. Over 1,000 spins at £1 that is £40 of expected difference, on the same amount of play.

The information screen inside the game shows which build you are on. On this title there are three to tell apart and the spread is three points, so it is worth the ten seconds.

Volatility. Contested. BigWinBoard files it as High, SlotCatalog as medium-high, and Blueprint’s own page carries a volatility heading with nothing under it. No source publishes a hit frequency, so there is no maths to settle it with and we are not going to guess.

Maximum win. 10,000× the total bet — stated by Blueprint and confirmed by both databases, which makes it the best-sourced figure on the page. No probability is published by anyone. Note the stake cap of £25: the ceiling is £250,000, not the seven-figure sum the same multiplier implies on games allowing €100 or 240 a spin.

Bets, bankroll and session planning

Blueprint puts the stake range at £0.10 to £25.00, and notes that currency conversion may apply. Every value — cash symbols, the collect totals, the 10,000× ceiling — is a multiple of that stake.

Session planning is awkward on this game for a simple reason: nothing is published to plan with. No hit frequency, no free spins frequency, no max-win probability. For Sugar Rush we can tell you the bonus averages 323 spins; for Golden Shower the studio itself prints 1 in 279. Here there is nothing, and we would rather say that than borrow a number from a sibling title.

What you can plan around is the RTP. This is the one game in the batch where the build genuinely dominates every other decision. At £1 a spin over 1,000 spins, the gap between the 95% and 92% builds is roughly £30 in expectation — more than most players win or lose through bet sizing in the same session. Check the screen, and if your casino runs 92%, play something else.

On the mechanic itself: because value requires fish and a collect symbol together, long runs with cash symbols landing and nothing collecting are a normal part of the distribution rather than bad luck. The unlockable collect symbols exist to shorten them. That is the rhythm to expect.

Playing on mobile

Blueprint lists the game as available on mobile, tablet and desktop, with an online demo preview for each. SlotCatalog publishes no build size for this title, so unlike the Pragmatic and ELK games in this batch we cannot tell you the download weight.

Six reels paying 4,096 ways is busier to read than a cluster grid but easier than a payline game — there is nothing to trace, you are simply looking for adjacent matches and for fish. The one thing worth seeing clearly is the printed value on each cash symbol, since the whole round turns on what is in view when a collect lands. In portrait those values get small on a six-reel board.

Five things to know before you spin

  1. Open the information screen and read the build before you stake money. Blueprint ships 95%, 93% and 92%. On this game the build matters more than anything else you decide.
  2. If your casino runs the 92% build, play a different game. Four points below Pragmatic’s top build is roughly £40 per 1,000 spins at £1 — that is not a margin you play through.
  3. Value needs two things at once. Cash fish pay nothing without a collect symbol on reel six. Long runs of uncollected fish are the design, not misfortune.
  4. The Fish Picker upgrade that converts high-pays into cash symbols is the one to want. Extra spins add length; symbol conversion adds things for the collect mechanic to find.
  5. Read the 10,000× next to the £25 stake cap. That is £250,000 maximum — a quarter of what the same multiplier is worth on the Pragmatic and Nolimit games in this batch.

Who this slot is for

This is for someone who already likes Fishin’ Frenzy and wants the widest version of it. The 4,096-ways board gives the collect mechanic far more to work with than the original ten-line game, the unlockable collect symbols give a session some shape, and the brand is familiar enough in Britain that most players will know within a spin whether they are at home here.

It is not for anyone comparing games on value. A 95% top build is a genuinely poor deal next to the 96.5% available across this batch, and the 92% build is worse than anything else we have reviewed. That is not a small difference dressed up as one — it is three to four percentage points of expected return, which over any real session dwarfs every other choice you make.

If you want Blueprint’s money-collect format on better terms, nothing in the studio’s catalogue we have measured offers them. If you want a money-collect game at a higher RTP, our review of Big Bass Vegas 1000 covers Pragmatic’s version of the same idea at 96.53%.

Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish demo and slot FAQ

Can I play the Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish demo for free?
Yes — the demo above is the full game on play money, with no account and no deposit. It runs the same 4,096 ways, the same collect symbols and the same Fish Picker as the real-money version. Demo credits have no cash value.
What is the RTP of Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish?
Blueprint Gaming publishes three certified builds on its own page, with their identifiers: 95%, 93% and 92%. The 95% build is the best available. For context, every Pragmatic Play game we have reviewed has a bottom build of 94.50%, so Blueprint’s best is roughly Pragmatic’s worst.
What is the maximum win?
10,000× your total bet — stated by Blueprint and confirmed by BigWinBoard and SlotCatalog. No source publishes the probability of reaching it. Note that the stake is capped at £25, so the ceiling is £250,000 rather than the seven-figure sum the multiplier implies elsewhere.
How does the money collect work?
Cash symbols — the fish — land on reels one to six carrying printed values, but pay nothing on their own. When the Frankie Collect symbol lands on reel six, it collects the value of every cash symbol in view. Both halves must happen on the same spin for anything to pay.
What is the Golden Fish?
An unlockable symbol that accumulates all cash prizes in view before being collected, rather than collecting them directly. Blueprint also allows up to three different special Collect symbols to be unlocked during play.
How do you get the free games?
Through The Big Splash, which activates the Fish Picker. The fish you pick reveal upgrades to the feature — extra spins, or high-paying symbols being converted into cash symbols for the round. Blueprint publishes no trigger frequency for this title.
When was it released?
The sources disagree. Blueprint’s own page dates it 31 October 2024, BigWinBoard published its review on 28 October 2024, and SlotCatalog records 29 January 2024. We quote the studio’s own date and flag the conflict rather than pick one.

Our verdict on Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish

7.0/ 10

An honest studio publishing a number that does it no favours

Blueprint Gaming does something here that Pragmatic, ELK and Nolimit City all refuse to do: it publishes its certified RTP builds, by identifier, on the public game page. That is genuinely creditable and it is the reason this review can be precise where several others on this site have to say “ranges exist and nobody lists them”. The trouble is what the honesty reveals. The best build is 95% and the worst is 92% — which means the most generous version of this slot returns less than the least generous version of any Pragmatic title we have covered, and the least generous keeps eight pounds in every hundred staked. The game underneath is fine: 4,096 bothway ways give the money-collect mechanic room to breathe, the unlockable collect symbols and the Golden Fish give a session some shape, and the Fish Picker’s symbol-conversion upgrade is a real improvement rather than padding. But nothing is published about hit frequency, trigger rate or max-win odds, the release date is recorded three different ways by three sources, and a £25 stake cap makes the 10,000× headline worth a quarter of what the same multiplier buys elsewhere in this batch. A likeable game on expensive terms, sold by the most honest studio on the list.
