The Reactoonz Blitzways demo runs the real game on play credits: the same Blitzways grid, the same cascading wilds, the same Gargantoon pick game. Demo credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and reset when you reload the page.
Use the demo to check the thing the paytable cannot convey: how the free-spin multipliers build. They persist for the entire round rather than resetting each spin, which makes a long round behave completely differently from a short one.

Reactoonz Blitzways slot at a glance
How the game plays
Five reels carrying 2 to 7 rows each, producing 16,807 Blitzways. Blitzways is Play’n GO’s adjacent-reel system: symbols pay when they land on neighbouring reels, in the manner of a ways-to-win game, rather than needing to form a connected cluster.
That is the headline change from the rest of the series. Reactoonz and Reactoonz 2 are 7×7 cluster-pays grids where symbols must touch. This one is a five-reel ways game wearing the same characters, and the switch roughly halves the ways count a 7×7 cluster grid effectively offers while making wins far easier to read.
The published hit frequency is 1 in 3.54, a little over one paying spin in three. Every win cascades — winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in — and crucially, every win leaves a Wild behind in a random position.
The story behind the game
Reactoonz Blitzways was released on 23 July 2026, the fourth entry in a series that began with Reactoonz in 2017. The original is still one of the best-known cluster slots ever made, and we have reviewed it: a 7×7 grid, a 96.51% RTP and a 4,570× ceiling.
This one is the series’ biggest departure. Dropping cluster pays for a ways system is a significant change of identity, and it comes with more than double the original’s ceiling. Whether that is evolution or dilution is the central question about the game.
Symbols and paytable
The wild rules are the game. Read them in order — each one feeds the next.
| Grid | 5 reels, 2 to 7 rows, 16,807 Blitzways |
|---|---|
| Every win | cascades, and leaves a Wild in a random position |
| Free spins trigger | 3 or more scatters in a single round |
| Free spins awarded | 8 |
| Free spins opening state | 2 sticky Wilds already on the grid |
| Additional Wilds in free spins | also stick for the rest of the round |
| Wild multiplier | +1 each time that Wild is part of a win |
| Multiplier persistence | carries for the whole round, not just the spin |
| Gargantoon pick game | 15 tokens; match three to reveal a prize |
| Gargantoon prizes | 5× to 30×, or fixed 50×, 150× and 1,000× |
The decisive line is multiplier persistence. A sticky wild that wins on spins two, four and six of an eight-spin round is carrying +3 by the end of it — and because every win also deposits another wild, the grid gets denser as the round goes on. That compounding is the whole design.
Bonus features and free spins
Every win leaves a wild behind
Not a bonus feature — this happens in the base game on every single winning spin. A win cascades away and a Wild appears in a random position on the grid. One win therefore makes the next slightly more likely, which is the quiet engine underneath the 1-in-3.54 hit rate.
In free spins, those wilds stick
The round opens with 2 sticky Wilds already placed, and every further Wild created during it also sticks. Over eight spins the grid fills up with permanent wilds, so the last spin of a good round is played on a very different board from the first.
And each one grows its own multiplier
Every time a sticky Wild forms part of a winning combination, its multiplier gains +1 and keeps it for the rest of the round. Several wilds each building their own figure, on a board that is getting denser, is how a 7/10 volatility game reaches 10,000×.
Gargantoon’s pick game, with three fixed tiers
Bonus symbols feed Gargantoon, which can randomly open a pick game of 15 tokens. Matching three reveals a prize: 5× to 30× the bet, or one of three fixed awards at 50×, 150× and 1,000×. It is a separate route to a payout that does not depend on the reels at all.
Five RTP builds, twelve points apart
96.2%, 94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2% and 84.2%. That bottom rung is the lowest published RTP of any game reviewed on this site, and the spread is the widest. It is a feature in the sense that it is published openly — but it is the one thing to check before playing for money anywhere.
- Multipliers that persist across the whole round rather than resetting per spin, which makes an eight-spin bonus compound properly.
- Every base-game win leaves a wild, so the grid improves as you play rather than resetting to neutral.
- 10,000× is more than double the original Reactoonz’ 4,570× ceiling, on a game that is also easier to read.
- A hit every 3.54 spins keeps the base game active, which the 7×7 cluster originals often did not.
- The Gargantoon pick game offers a 1,000× fixed prize that bypasses the reels entirely — a second, independent route to a real payout.
- Five RTP builds spanning twelve percentage points is the widest ladder on this site, and 84.2% at the bottom is extraordinarily low.
- It is not really a Reactoonz game. Dropping cluster pays for a ways system removes the thing that made the series distinctive, and the characters are doing a lot of work to disguise that.
- Only 8 free spins, with no retrigger mentioned in the published rules — a short window in which to build multipliers that are supposed to compound.
- The sources disagree on volatility. The information table says High (7/10); the review text calls it medium-high. We print the table’s figure.
- 16,807 ways is modest next to the 117,649 and 200,704 of the Megaways games it competes with on shelf space.
How Reactoonz Blitzways compares
Against the rest of the Reactoonz line and the Play’n GO games nearest it that we have reviewed.
| Game | Studio | RTP (top) | Volatility | Max win | Win type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reactoonz Blitzways | Play’n GO | 96.2% | High (7/10) | 10,000× | 16,807 Blitzways |
| Reactoonz | Play’n GO | 96.51% | Very high (10/10) | 4,570× | 7 × 7 cluster pays |
| Legacy of Dead | Play’n GO | Not published | High to very high | 5,000× | 10 fixed lines |
| Gold Megaways | Big Time Gaming | 96.42% | High | 20,200× | 117,649 to 1,000,000 ways |
The first two rows are the interesting comparison. The original Reactoonz returns a third of a point more and is rated 10/10 for volatility with a ceiling less than half as high; this one returns slightly less, hits more often, and doubles the top end. It is the friendlier game by every measure except purity.
Reactoonz Blitzways RTP, volatility and max win
Reactoonz Blitzways is published at more than one RTP. Five certified builds spanning twelve percentage points, which is the widest ladder of any game reviewed on this site. Play’n GO configures in clean two-to-three point steps and the casino picks the rung. At 84.2% this is a fundamentally different game from the one reviewed here, and nothing on screen tells you which you are playing.
| 96.2% | the headline build, and the one Play’n GO leads with |
|---|---|
| 94.2% | two points down |
| 91.2% | five points below the headline |
| 87.2% | nine points below the headline |
| 84.2% | twelve points below the headline — avoid |
96.2% is the top of five certified builds. The others are 94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2% and 84.2%, and the casino chooses which it runs.
That ladder deserves a paragraph of its own. Twelve percentage points between the best and worst settings is the widest spread of any game we have reviewed, and 84.2% is the lowest published figure on this entire site. A game running at 84.2% is not a slightly worse version of the one described here — it is a different product with the same artwork.
At the top rung, 96.2% is a shade under the industry average, which is a fair price for a round whose multipliers persist and a base game that leaves a wild on every win. Just confirm the rung. The in-game information screen is the only place it appears.
Bets, bankroll and session planning
Stakes run from 0.10 to 100 per spin, a conventional range and the same top end as Dr Zappo and Demonic Dolls.
The published rules carry no feature buy and no ante bet for this title. Free spins come from landing three or more scatters in a single round, and the Gargantoon pick game opens at random from bonus symbols rather than being purchasable. For players in the UK and other markets where buys are banned, that makes this game the same proposition everywhere.
Playing on mobile
A five-reel grid of varying height is far easier to read at phone size than the 7×7 cluster boards the series used to use — counting connected symbols on a 49-position grid is exactly what a small screen is worst at, and ways-based wins remove that problem entirely.
The multiplier figures sit on the wilds themselves, and with several sticky wilds each carrying their own number by the end of a round, the board gets busy. Turbo off for the first few bonuses is worth it, because watching a wild tick from +1 to +4 is the whole pleasure of the round.
Five things to know before you spin
- Check which RTP rung you are on before anything else. Five builds spanning twelve points, bottoming out at 84.2%, makes this the most important check of any game on this site.
- Watch the wild count, not the spin count. Eight free spins sounds short, but every win adds a permanent wild, so the last spins are played on a much denser board.
- Multipliers persist for the whole round. A wild that wins early is worth more for every remaining spin, which is why an early win matters more than a late one here.
- The Gargantoon pick game is independent of the reels. Its 1,000× fixed prize does not need a good spin, so a quiet session can still produce one.
- If you came for cluster pays, this is not that game. Reactoonz and Reactoonz 2 still are, and the original is reviewed on this site.

Who this slot is for
For players who liked Reactoonz but found it punishing. A 10/10 volatility rating and a 4,570× ceiling made the original a grind with a modest reward; this one hits more often, reads more clearly, and doubles the top end. The persisting multipliers give the bonus a genuine arc.
It is the wrong game for cluster-pays purists, who will reasonably feel the series has been turned into something else, and the wrong game for anyone unwilling to check their casino’s RTP setting — with a bottom rung of 84.2%, playing this one blind is the riskiest thing you could do with it.

Our verdict on Reactoonz Blitzways
A better game than Reactoonz, and less of a Reactoonz game
Judged on its own, this is good work. Every base-game win leaves a wild behind, those wilds stick through the bonus, and each one grows its own multiplier that persists for the whole round — three rules that feed each other into a board which genuinely improves as you play. A hit every 3.54 spins and a 10,000× ceiling make it both more active and more rewarding than the 2017 original, which is rated 10/10 for volatility and stops at 4,570×.
Judged as a Reactoonz game, it has given up the thing that made the name mean something. Cluster pays on a 7×7 grid is what Reactoonz was; five reels and 16,807 ways is a different genre with familiar characters painted on. Players who loved the original for its density will find this one legible and slightly hollow.
The real warning is the RTP ladder. Five builds from 96.2% down to 84.2% is the widest spread we have recorded anywhere, and the bottom rung is the lowest published figure on this site. At the top it is a fair game. Find out which one your casino runs before you play it for money — on this title that check matters more than on any other.
