The third branch of the Sugar Rush line, and the most extreme. 96.58% on the top build, a 50,000× ceiling, and a 32.26% hit frequency — which is an unusual combination: roughly one spin in three returns something, yet the top end is twice Sugar Rush 1000’s.
That is because the ceiling no longer comes from the cluster grid at all. The new Super Scatter symbol pays 100×, 500×, 5,000× or 50,000× for one, two, three or four of them. Pragmatic publishes the odds on the top one: 1 in 10,000,000.

The demo below runs the full game on play credits, all three bonus bets and both buys included. The bonus bets are what to test here — at 5×, 10× and 250× the base stake they are wildly different propositions, and the 250× option changes the game completely. Sugar Rush Super Scatter slot at a glance
More on the figures above. Figures from the game’s own information screen, cross-checked against SlotCatalog, which carries the hit frequency (32.26%, about 1 in 3.1 spins, with free spins around 1 in 310) and both release dates — 12 January 2026 for the premiere and 12 February 2026 for the wide release. On volatility the game’s own documentation says very high while the database attribute says high; both are shown above. The 50,000× ceiling is quoted with its own stated odds of 1 in 10,000,000, which is worth reading before treating it as a target.
How the game plays
A 7 × 7 grid with cluster pays: five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. Winning clusters explode and the grid refills, which can chain.
The Sugar Rush engine is multiplier spots. When a cluster explodes, the positions it occupied become marked. A marked spot starts at ×2 and doubles with every further explosion on it — ×2, ×4, ×8 and so on, capping at ×1,024. In the base game the spots clear between spins. In free spins they persist for the entire feature, which is the whole reason the round is worth reaching.
What this edition adds is the Super Scatter. It pays on its own, independently of the clusters: 100× for one, 500× for two, 5,000× for three, and 50,000× for four in a qualifying combination. That last figure is the game’s stated ceiling and Pragmatic publishes its odds — 1 in 10,000,000.
Free spins are triggered by three or more scatters and scale generously: 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins for three, four, five, six or seven scatters.
The story behind the game
Premiered 12 January 2026, with the wide release on 12 February 2026.
Sugar Rush has become one of Pragmatic’s most extended lines. The original Sugar Rush (96.50%, 5,000×) established the multiplier-spot mechanic on a cluster board. Sugar Rush 1000 (96.53%, 25,000×) kept the mechanic and raised the ceiling fivefold. This third entry does something different: rather than inflating the cluster maths again, it bolts a separate paying symbol onto the side.
That is the same move Pragmatic made with Gates of Olympus Super Scatter (96.50%, 50,000×), and the two are clearly a matched pair — identical ceiling, identical idea, two different engines underneath. If the studio is building a Super Scatter sub-brand across its biggest franchises, these are the first two entries.
Symbols and paytable
Pragmatic publishes the full values on the in-game information screen. What follows is what changes how a spin resolves.
| The Super Scatter — the new symbol | Pays 100×, 500×, 5,000× or 50,000× the total bet for one, two, three or four in a qualifying combination. It pays independently of the clusters, which is why the ceiling is no longer tied to the grid. |
|---|---|
| Multiplier spots — ×2 doubling to ×1,024 | A position that has hosted an explosion becomes marked at ×2, and doubles with each further explosion on it, to a cap of ×1,024. In the base game they clear between spins; in free spins they persist for the whole round. |
| Cluster pays — five or more touching | Horizontally or vertically adjacent on the 7 × 7 grid. A 32.26% hit frequency means roughly one spin in 3.1 produces a cluster, which is high for a game rated this volatile. |
| The scatter — a generous ladder | 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins for three, four, five, six or seven scatters. Most Pragmatic games stop the ladder at five; this one keeps going to seven. |
The two halves pay on completely different principles, and that is the design. The clusters and spots give you a steady, frequently-returning game; the Super Scatter is a separate lottery bolted alongside it. Judge the session on the first and treat the second as what it is.
Bonus features and free spins
The Super Scatter — up to 50,000×
100×, 500×, 5,000× or 50,000× for one, two, three or four. Pragmatic publishes the odds on the top tier as 1 in 10,000,000, which is unusually transparent and worth taking at face value.
Multiplier spots to ×1,024
Start at ×2 and double with each explosion on the same position. The cap is ×1,024, reached after ten explosions on one spot — realistically a free-spins-only proposition, since that is where the spots persist.
Free spins — 10 to 30
Three to seven scatters award 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins. Critically, the multiplier spots stay for the whole feature, so a long round compounds in a way the base game never can.
Three bonus bets at three prices
5× the stake increases the free-spins entry chance tenfold. 10× adds random multipliers to random spots. 250× starts every spot at ×32 — a different game entirely, and priced accordingly.
Two buys
The standard bonus at 100× the stake, and Super Free Spins at 500×, which begins the round with ×2 multipliers already in place.
- A 32.26% hit frequency is genuinely high — about one paying spin in three — and makes this far less punishing than its volatility rating suggests.
- Pragmatic publishes the odds on the 50,000×. Stating 1 in 10,000,000 openly is rare, and it lets you price the ceiling honestly instead of dreaming about it.
- 96.58% on the top build is above both the original Sugar Rush and Sugar Rush 1000.
- The scatter ladder runs to seven, awarding 30 free spins — a longer top trigger than most Pragmatic games offer.
- Five separate ways to spend more — bonus bets at 5×, 10× and 250×, plus buys at 100× and 500×. The game does not lay out the trade-offs anywhere.
- The 50,000× is a lottery, not a target. At 1 in 10 million it is further out of reach than the headline number suggests.
- Three RTP builds spanning two points, with nothing in the lobby to say which is live.
- The volatility is rated two ways — very high by the studio’s own documentation, high by the databases.
How Sugar Rush Super Scatter compares
Against the rest of the Sugar Rush line and its Super Scatter twin, this entry is the highest-returning and the most extreme at the top.
| Game | RTP (top build) | Volatility | Max win | Grid |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sugar Rush Super Scatter | 96.58% | High / very high | 50,000× | 7 × 7, cluster |
| Sugar Rush 1000 | 96.53% | Very high | 25,000× | 7 × 7, cluster |
| Sugar Rush | 96.50% | High (5/5) | 5,000× | 7 reels, cluster |
| Gates of Olympus Super Scatter | 96.50% | High | 50,000× | 6 × 5, pay anywhere |
| Jammin’ Jars | 96.83% | High | 20,000× | 8 × 8, cluster |
The Sugar Rush line has multiplied its ceiling by ten across three releases while gaining less than a tenth of a point of RTP — which tells you the extra top end is being funded by rarity, not generosity. Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is the direct sibling: same ceiling, same bolted-on symbol, a pay-anywhere engine instead of clusters. Jammin’ Jars remains the higher RTP if that is your priority.
Sugar Rush Super Scatter RTP, volatility and max win
Sugar Rush Super Scatter is published at more than one RTP. Three certified builds and the operator chooses. With a 32.26% hit frequency you are playing a lot of returning spins, so a two-point cut here erodes a balance steadily rather than removing one rare result — the more noticeable kind of downgrade. The live figure is on the information screen, never in the lobby.
| 96.58% | the headline build |
|---|---|
| 95.53% | about a point down |
| 94.52% | two points below the headline |
The headline is 96.58%, which is the best figure in the Sugar Rush line and above most of Pragmatic’s catalogue.
Two lower builds are certified at 95.53% and 94.52%, and the operator chooses. This matters more on this game than on most: with a 32.26% hit frequency you are playing a very large number of small returning spins, so a two-point RTP cut is felt continuously rather than as one missing jackpot. It is the kind of downgrade you notice as a balance that drains faster than it should.
That hit frequency is also the most reassuring number here. About one spin in 3.1 returns something, with free spins arriving around 1 in 310. For a game the studio itself rates very high volatility, that is a genuinely active base game — the volatility is in the size of the outcomes, not the frequency.
And then the ceiling. 50,000× at 1 in 10,000,000, published by Pragmatic itself. Ten million spins at one spin every three seconds is roughly ten months of continuous play. Treat it as a number that exists rather than one you are playing for.
Bets, bankroll and session planning
Stakes run from 0.20 to 240 a spin, rising to 1,200 with an ante bet active.
This game has more cost levers than almost anything Pragmatic ships. Three bonus bets: 5× the stake for a tenfold better free-spins entry chance, 10× for random multipliers on random spots, and 250× to start every spot at ×32. Plus two buys: 100× for the standard bonus and 500× for Super Free Spins starting at ×2.
The 250× bonus bet deserves singling out. Starting every spot at ×32 is not a tweak, it is a different game — and at 250 times your base stake it needs to be. Test it on the demo before you go anywhere near it with money.
Of the cheaper options, the 5× bonus bet is the most defensible: free spins are where the multiplier spots persist, and on a 1-in-310 natural trigger a tenfold improvement is substantial.
Playing on mobile
Runs in the browser on a phone with no download and no app. A 7 × 7 grid is dense in portrait and the multiplier values printed on each spot get small — which is a problem on a game where those numbers are the whole point. It is playable, but this is one where a bigger screen genuinely helps you read what is happening during a long free-spins round.
Five things to know before you spin
- Check the RTP build before your first spin. Three are certified across two points, and on a high-hit-frequency game the difference shows up steadily rather than rarely.
- Read the 50,000× as 1 in 10,000,000. Pragmatic publishes those odds itself. It is a number that exists, not a target to chase.
- Free spins are where the spots persist. That is the entire reason to reach the round — in the base game the multipliers reset every spin.
- Try the 250× bonus bet on the demo only. Starting every spot at ×32 changes the game completely, and the price reflects that.
- Seven scatters pays 30 free spins. The ladder goes further than most Pragmatic games — do not assume five is the top.

Who this slot is for
This is the Sugar Rush for someone who wants an active base game and does not mind that the headline number is theatre. One paying spin in three is a comfortable rhythm, the multiplier spots are satisfying to watch build, and 96.58% is the best return in the line.
It is less suitable if the cost ladders bother you. Five separate ways to increase your stake, none of them explained side by side, is a lot of opportunity to spend more than you meant to. And if you are choosing on ceiling, be honest with yourself about what 1 in 10 million means — Sugar Rush 1000 at 25,000× is half the number and a great deal more reachable.

A better base game than the headline suggests
The 50,000× will sell this game and it is the least interesting thing about it. Pragmatic itself publishes the odds — 1 in 10,000,000 — and deserves credit for that, because it lets you set the number aside and judge what is left.
What is left is good. A 32.26% hit frequency on a cluster board with multiplier spots doubling to ×1,024 is an engaging, frequently-returning game, and 96.58% is the best RTP in the Sugar Rush line. The scatter ladder running to seven for 30 free spins is more generous than Pragmatic usually manages.
The reservation is the cost ladder: five separate ways to pay more, from a 5× bonus bet to a 250× one, with no side-by-side explanation anywhere on screen. Spend time in the demo working out which of them you actually want. The game is good enough to be worth that, and expensive enough to require it.
