The Wild Toro 3 demo runs the real game on play credits: both volatility modes, the same Toro wild, the same Golden Rose Bonus. Demo credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and reset when you reload the page.
Use the demo to try both modes. They are genuinely different games to sit with — Day pays about three spins in ten, Night closer to two — and since the return is identical, the only way to pick is to feel which one you prefer.

Wild Toro 3 slot at a glance
More on the figures above. The RTP list, the Day/Night volatility split, the 25,000× ceiling, the grid and line counts, the 20.2–30% hit frequency range, the stake range, the X-iter prices and the 25 May 2026 release date come from the game’s own information screen as published by BigWinBoard. That source also states the RTP is the same in both volatility modes, maxing at 96% — which is the single most useful thing to know about this game. The Golden Rose Bonus is the route: a global multiplier that doubles every three tokens and carries over between triggers.
How the game plays
Five reels, four rows at baseline, expanding by one row for each Torito until the grid reaches five by seven. Wins pay on connected lines rather than fixed paylines: 178 of them at the base grid, rising to 421 when fully expanded.
Base pays are modest — five of a kind pays 0.3× to 5× the stake. The published hit frequency is a range rather than a single figure, 20.2% to 30%, because it moves with the mode you choose: Night is at the low end, Day at the high one.
The Toro wild is the series signature. It starts at x1 and gains +1 for every step it takes across the reels, so a Toro that walks the full width of the grid arrives at the far side carrying a far larger multiplier than it started with.
The story behind the game
Wild Toro 3 was released on 25 May 2026, following ELK’s 2016 original and its sequel. The matador-and-bull setting has been the studio’s most recognisable property for a decade, and the walking Toro wild is the mechanic the series is known for.
What is new here is the choice of mode. Offering Day and Night as selectable volatility settings is unusual, and offering them at an identical RTP is rarer still — most games that let you change the shape of play also quietly change what comes back.
Symbols and paytable
Two things to read: how the Toro builds its multiplier, and how the Golden Rose Bonus builds a global one on top of it.
| Five of a kind | 0.3× to 5× the stake |
|---|---|
| Base grid | 5 reels × 4 rows, 178 connected lines |
| Fully expanded grid | 5 × 7, up to 421 connected lines |
| Toro wild | starts at x1, +1 for every step it takes across the reels |
| Green Torito | doubles Toro’s multiplier |
| Red Torito | adds Toro’s multiplier to itself |
| Each Torito | expands the grid by one row, to a maximum of 7 |
| Golden Rose Bonus — each Matador knocked out | adds a token to the meter |
| Every 3 tokens | doubles the global multiplier, which starts at x1 |
| Repeat Golden Rose triggers | start at the previous round’s final global multiplier |
The last row is the one worth rereading. A repeat Golden Rose Bonus starts where the last one finished rather than resetting to x1 — so the multiplier is a property of your session, not of a single round. That is how the ceiling gets to 25,000×.
Bonus features and free spins
Day or Night, same RTP
You choose the mode. Day is the medium-volatility version with a hit rate near 30%; Night is high volatility nearer 20%. The information screen states the return is the same in both, maxing at 96% — so you are choosing the shape of your session and nothing else. Very few games offer that honestly.
A wild that pays for walking
The Toro starts at x1 and gains +1 for each step it takes across the reels. The further it travels before it leaves, the larger the multiplier it is carrying when it lands in a win. It is the mechanic the series was built on and it still reads perfectly on screen.
Toritos grow the grid and the multiplier
Each Torito expands the board by a row, up to seven. A Green Torito doubles Toro’s multiplier; a Red Torito adds Toro’s multiplier to itself. So a Torito is three things at once: more rows, more connected lines, and a larger figure on the bull.
The Golden Rose global multiplier doubles every three tokens
Each Matador knocked out drops a token into a meter, and every third token doubles a global multiplier that starts at x1. At the end of the round the entire win counter is multiplied by it. Doubling rather than adding is what gives the bonus a long tail.
And it carries over between rounds
A repeat Golden Rose Bonus begins at the previous round’s final global multiplier instead of resetting. That turns the bonus from a self-contained event into something that accumulates across a session — the single most generous rule in any ELK game we have reviewed.
- Day and Night at the same RTP is a genuinely honest piece of design: you choose the variance, not the return.
- The global multiplier carries between Golden Rose rounds, so progress is not thrown away when a bonus ends.
- 25,000× is the joint-highest ceiling ELK offers, and the doubling multiplier gives it a visible route.
- Up to 30% hit frequency in Day mode makes this the friendliest of the four ELK games in this batch for a modest balance.
- Toritos do three jobs at once — add a row, add connected lines, and grow the bull’s multiplier — which keeps a single symbol meaningful.
- Three RTP builds down to 87%, which is nine points below the headline and a genuinely poor setting to be served.
- Five of a kind pays 0.3× at the bottom of the table, so the frequent wins Day mode produces are mostly small.
- Midnight Bullfight is Night-mode only and only on an initial spin, so Day players never see the game’s most dramatic feature.
- The 250× buy differs by mode — Super Bonus in Day, Midnight Bullfight in Night — which is easy to misread when switching.
- Neither ELK nor the databases give a single hit-frequency figure, only the 20.2–30% range across modes.
How Wild Toro 3 compares
Against the other ELK games we have reviewed, including the one that matches its ceiling.
| Game | RTP (top) | Volatility | Max win | Hit frequency | Grid |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wild Toro 3 | 96% | Medium/High (your choice) | 25,000× | 20.2–30% | 5×4 up to 5×7 |
| Bushido Gold | 96% | High (7/10) | 25,000× | 20.9% | 6 reels, 4–8 rows |
| Langley Street 23 | 96% | High (7/10) | 10,000× | Not published | 5 × 5, 35 lines |
| Pirots 4 | 94.00% | High (7/10) | 10,000× | Not published | collection mechanic |
This and Bushido Gold are the two ELK games that break the studio’s 10,000× house ceiling, and both do it with a grid that grows. The difference is who decides the variance: Bushido Gold fixes it at 7/10, and this one hands you the switch without touching the return.
Wild Toro 3 RTP, volatility and max win
Wild Toro 3 is published at more than one RTP. Three certified builds and the casino chooses. The important point is what the modes do not do: picking Night over Day does not change the RTP. The information screen states the return is the same in both and maxes at 96%, so the choice is purely about shape — how often you win and how large — not about how much comes back.
| 96% | the headline build, and the maximum in both volatility modes |
|---|---|
| 94% | two points down |
| 87% | nine points below the headline — avoid |
96% is the highest of three certified builds; the others are 94% and 87%, and the casino chooses which it runs.
The point worth stating twice is that the volatility mode does not change the RTP. The information screen says the return is the same in Day and Night and maxes at 96% in both. That is a meaningfully honest piece of disclosure: plenty of games offer a “high volatility” toggle that quietly costs you return, and this one does not.
What the mode does change is the hit frequency, from about 30% in Day to roughly 20% in Night. Same money back over time, delivered in different sized pieces. The 87% build is the one to watch for — nine points below the headline, and nothing on screen says which rung you are on.
Bets, bankroll and session planning
Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin.
Five X-iter buys are offered where regulation allows: Bonus Hunt at 2.5× the stake, making the Golden Rose Bonus three times likelier; Mega Hunt at 5× for six times likelier; Toro Goes Loco at 25×; the Golden Rose Bonus at 100×; and a 250× option that differs by mode — Super Bonus in Day, Midnight Bullfight in Night.
That last one is worth care. Switching mode changes what 250× buys you, and the two are not equivalent products.
Playing on mobile
A five-reel grid that grows from four rows to seven stays manageable at phone width, and connected-line wins are easier to read on a small screen than cluster wins because the path is drawn for you.
The Toro’s multiplier counter is the thing to keep an eye on and it is well placed on the bull itself. Turbo off is worth it for the first few sessions — the whole appeal of the walking wild is watching the number climb as it crosses the grid, and turbo removes exactly that.
Five things to know before you spin
- Pick the mode on feel, not on maths. The RTP is identical in Day and Night; only the hit frequency and win size change.
- Let the Toro walk. Its multiplier grows +1 per step, so a bull that enters on the far reel is worth more by the time it reaches a win than one that appears beside it.
- A Green Torito doubles, a Red Torito adds. On a Toro already carrying a large figure, the green one is worth far more.
- Golden Rose multipliers carry over. A second trigger in the same session starts where the first finished, so a session with two bonuses is worth more than two sessions with one each.
- Check which build you are on. Three rungs and the lowest is 87% — nine points below the headline, and invisible in play.

Who this slot is for
For players who want to set their own variance without being quietly charged for it. Day mode at close to a 30% hit rate is one of the more sustainable high-ceiling games on this site; Night mode is for sessions where you want the long tail. That both return the same is the reason to trust the switch.
It is less suited to anyone who wants the base game to carry itself. Five of a kind at 0.3× means the frequent Day-mode wins are small, and the real money is in the Golden Rose Bonus and the carried-over multiplier — which rewards long sessions rather than short ones.

Our verdict on Wild Toro 3
A volatility switch that does not cost you anything to flip
Plenty of slots now offer a high-volatility toggle. Almost all of them take something for it — a point of RTP, a worse paytable, a feature locked behind the safer mode. Wild Toro 3 states plainly that the return is the same in Day and Night, maxing at 96% either way, and only the hit frequency moves: about 30% in Day, about 20% in Night. That is the most genuinely player-friendly thing in any game in this batch.
The mechanics underneath hold up too. The Toro gaining +1 for every step it walks is still one of the best-read wild mechanics in slots. Toritos doing three jobs at once — a row, more connected lines, and a bigger bull — keeps a single symbol worth watching. And the Golden Rose global multiplier doubling every three tokens and carrying over to the next trigger turns the bonus into something that accumulates across a session rather than resetting each time.
Two caveats. Five of a kind at 0.3× means the frequent Day-mode wins are small, so this rewards patience even in its gentle mode. And the RTP ladder bottoms out at 87% — nine points below the headline and completely invisible in play. Check the build, pick your mode, and let the bull walk.
