The Heist Guys 2 demo runs the real game on play credits: the same Super Wilds, the same State Jar, the same Heist Game. Demo credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and reset when you reload the page.
The thing to watch for is a Super Wild surviving several avalanches in one spin. Doubling from x2 to x4 to x8 inside a single sequence is where this game’s whole character lives, and it reads far better on screen than in a paytable.

Heist Guys 2 slot at a glance
More on the figures above. The RTP ladder, the 7/10 volatility rating, the 10,000× ceiling, the 5×4 grid, the 1,024 ways, the 23.2% hit frequency, the stake range and the X-iter prices come from the game’s own information screen as published by BigWinBoard. ELK publishes no release date for it; the 7 July 2026 date carried by the studio feed in our catalogue is what the review uses, and the same date appears on that source. The doubling Super Wild multiplier is the route, and because several Super Wilds add their values together, the top end needs more than one of them in the same win.
How the game plays
A five by four grid with 1,024 ways, which is a conventional shape for ELK and deliberately so — this is the studio’s most ordinary playing field, carrying its least ordinary wild.
Base pays are tiny: five of a kind pays 0.2× to 0.5× the stake, the lowest range of any game in this batch. On its own the paytable does almost nothing. Wins avalanche — winning symbols clear, new ones drop, and the sequence continues while wins keep forming — and critically, Super Wilds are not removed when the symbols around them are.
The published hit frequency is 23.2%, a little under one paying spin in four.
The story behind the game
Heist Guys 2 was released on 7 July 2026, the sequel to ELK’s earlier Heist Guys. The three-robber collection idea carries over; the Super Wild is where the sequel earns its number.
Within this batch it sits as the conventional one: a 5×4 grid and 1,024 ways next to Bushido Gold’s eight-row expansion and Wild Toro 3’s selectable modes. What it has instead is the cleanest single idea of the four.
Symbols and paytable
The symbol rows barely matter here. The Super Wild rows are the game, and they need reading in order because each one depends on the last.
| Five of a kind | 0.2× to 0.5× the stake |
|---|---|
| Grid | 5 × 4, 1,024 ways |
| Super Wild | starts with no multiplier at all |
| Its first win | gives it x2 |
| Each later win | DOUBLES it — x2, x4, x8, x16 and onward |
| Several Super Wilds in one win | their multiplier values are added together |
| Avalanches | Super Wilds are NOT removed, so they survive to win again |
| Free Spins — 3 / 4 / 5 scatters | 8 / 10 / 12 spins, with at least one new Super Wild at the start |
| Super Free Spins | same spin counts, at least two Super Wilds, and both Super Wilds and collected Guys persist between spins with their multipliers |
| Heist Game | triggered when all 3 Guys are collected in a spin |
Note the interaction between the last two mechanics. In ordinary free spins a Super Wild keeps its multiplier within a spin; in Super Free Spins it keeps it across the whole round. That one difference is worth far more than the two extra Super Wilds you start with.
Bonus features and free spins
A wild that doubles every time it pays
A Super Wild lands with no multiplier. Its first win makes it x2, and every win after that doubles it again — x4, x8, x16. Because avalanches do not clear it, one Super Wild can chain through an entire sequence, and the figure it is carrying by the end bears no relation to where it started.
Several Super Wilds add, they do not multiply
When more than one Super Wild is part of the same win, their values are added together rather than multiplied. That is the balancing rule: doubling within a wild is explosive, so combining across wilds is kept deliberately linear. It is also why the 10,000× ceiling needs several of them.
Super Free Spins keep the multipliers for the whole round
A super scatter in the trigger awards the same 8, 10 or 12 spins, starts you with at least two Super Wilds instead of one, and — the real difference — lets Super Wilds and collected Guys persist between spins with their multipliers intact. An ordinary round starts over each spin; this one compounds.
The State Jar, which either fills or pays
State symbols are collected into a jar at the end of a spin. The jar either rises one level or empties for a random prize: cash, 8 free spins, or the Heist Game outright. It is a second, parallel route into the features that does not depend on landing scatters at all.
Collect all three Guys and the Heist starts
Gathering all 3 Guys in a single spin triggers the Heist Game, where multipliers found in the rooms apply to the current heist win. ELK does not publish the values those room multipliers take, so this review does not state them.
- A doubling wild that survives avalanches is the cleanest single idea in this batch — one Super Wild can carry an entire spin.
- Super Free Spins keep multipliers across the round, which turns a 10-spin bonus into a genuinely compounding one.
- The State Jar is a second route into the features, so a session without scatters is not a session without bonuses.
- A 23.2% hit frequency is reasonable for a 7/10 volatility game and better than Bushido Gold’s 20.9%.
- Bonus Hunt at 2.5× and Mega Bonus at 5× are among the cheapest entry buys in this catalogue, where most studios start at 3×.
- Five of a kind pays 0.2× to 0.5× the stake — the lowest base pays of any game in this batch. Without a Super Wild in play the grid is nearly worthless.
- Five RTP builds spanning nine points, bottoming out at 87%, is the widest ladder of the four ELK games here.
- 10,000× is the house ceiling, half what Bushido Gold and Wild Toro 3 offer from the same studio at the same top RTP.
- ELK publishes no values for the Heist Game room multipliers, so the headline feature’s arithmetic is unknown until you play it.
- The Super Bonus costs 250×, and since the ordinary bonus is 100×, the premium is entirely for the persistence rule.
How Heist Guys 2 compares
Against the other ELK games we have reviewed, which all share a studio and almost nothing else.
| Game | RTP (top) | Volatility | Max win | Hit frequency | Wild behaviour |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Heist Guys 2 | 96% | High (7/10) | 10,000× | 23.2% | doubles on every win |
| Bushido Gold | 96% | High (7/10) | 25,000× | 20.9% | cannons fire wild columns |
| Wild Toro 3 | 96% | Medium/High (your choice) | 25,000× | 20.2–30% | +1 per step walked |
| Langley Street 23 | 96% | High (7/10) | 10,000× | Not published | cloning wilds add multipliers |
Four games at the same top RTP from one studio, and the wild column explains the ceilings. The two games whose wilds grow the grid reach 25,000×; the two whose wilds grow a multiplier stop at 10,000×. ELK is clearly pricing board size higher than multiplier size.
Heist Guys 2 RTP, volatility and max win
Heist Guys 2 is published at more than one RTP. Five certified builds spanning nine percentage points, the widest ladder of the four ELK games reviewed here. ELK steps its settings in clean two-point increments and the casino picks the rung; nothing in the game indicates which.
| 96% | the default build, and the one ELK leads with |
|---|---|
| 94% | two points down |
| 92% | four points below the default |
| 90% | six points below the default |
| 87% | nine points below the default — avoid |
96% is the default of five certified builds. The others are 94%, 92%, 90% and 87%, and the casino chooses which it runs.
That is the widest ladder of the four ELK games in this batch — Bushido Gold ships two rungs, this one five. The steps are clean and evenly spaced, which at least makes the question easy to ask, but a nine-point spread is a lot of room and the bottom rung is poor by any measure.
96% with a 23.2% hit frequency and base pays of 0.2× to 0.5× describes a game whose entire return is concentrated in Super Wild sequences. The ordinary spins are not where the money is and are not meant to be.
Bets, bankroll and session planning
Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin, ELK’s standard range.
Five X-iter buys are offered where regulation allows: Bonus Hunt at 2.5× the bet for about three times the bonus chance; Mega Bonus at 5× for about seven times; the Heist Game at 50×; the bonus round at 100×; and the super bonus round at 250×.
The gap between 100× and 250× is worth understanding before you spend it. You are not buying more spins — both award 8, 10 or 12 — you are buying the rule that lets Super Wilds keep their multipliers between them.
Playing on mobile
A 5×4 grid with 1,024 ways is the most phone-friendly layout ELK ships, and this game benefits from being the studio’s least ambitious shape: twenty positions, large symbols, nothing cropped.
The Super Wild multiplier is printed on the wild itself and doubles visibly as the avalanche runs, which is exactly the kind of feedback a small screen handles well. Leave turbo off for the first few sessions so you can actually watch a wild go x2, x4, x8 inside one spin.
Five things to know before you spin
- A Super Wild is worth more the longer the avalanche runs. It is not cleared with the winning symbols, so each additional win in the same sequence doubles it again.
- Two Super Wilds add, they do not multiply. Do not expect x8 and x8 to become x64 — it becomes x16.
- Super Free Spins is the round to want. The extra starting wild matters less than the rule that multipliers survive between spins.
- Watch the State Jar as well as the scatters. It can empty into cash, 8 free spins or the Heist Game outright, and it does not need a scatter to do it.
- Check which RTP build you are on. Five rungs from 96% down to 87% is the widest spread of the ELK games reviewed here.

Who this slot is for
For players who like one idea executed properly. The doubling Super Wild that survives avalanches is the most satisfying mechanic in this batch, and the State Jar means there are two ways into the features rather than one. A 23.2% hit rate keeps it sustainable.
It is the wrong game if you want the base game to pay. Five of a kind at 0.2× is as close to nothing as a paytable gets, and without a Super Wild on the grid the spin is essentially decorative. If you want a bigger ceiling from the same studio, Bushido Gold and Wild Toro 3 both offer 25,000× at the same top RTP.

Our verdict on Heist Guys 2
One idea, and it is a very good one
Heist Guys 2 is the plainest-looking game in this batch and has the sharpest mechanic in it. A Super Wild that lands with nothing, earns x2 on its first win, doubles on every win after that, and is never cleared by the avalanche that pays it — that is a complete design in one sentence, and watching a wild climb x2, x4, x8 inside a single spin is more satisfying than most bonus rounds.
The supporting rules are thoughtful too. Several Super Wilds add rather than multiply, which stops the maths running away. Super Free Spins charge a premium not for more spins but for the right to keep multipliers between them. And the State Jar gives the game a second route into its features, so a scatter drought is not a feature drought.
What holds it to a 7.5 is the floor. Five of a kind pays 0.2× to 0.5× the stake, which is the weakest paytable here, and the RTP ladder runs five rungs down to 87%. This is a game with nothing at all in the base layer and everything in one symbol — thrilling when it lands, flat when it does not.
