Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice slot by Pragmatic Play — game artwork

The Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice demo is the free, no-signup version of Pragmatic Play’s 27 February 2025 release — Sweet Bonanza 1000 with its candy symbols redrawn as dice faces. It runs 96.53% RTP at the top build, high volatility, and a maximum win of 25,000×. The underlying maths is, as far as every source we checked can tell, the same game: same grid, same tumbles, same 1,000× bomb cap, same ceiling.

The Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice demo runs the real game on play money — the same 6×5 grid, the same tumbles, the same bombs, the same free spins. Demo credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.

This is a particularly useful demo to have, because the one honest question about this game is whether the dice skin changes anything. Open it next to Sweet Bonanza 1000 and the answer becomes obvious in about thirty spins.

More on the figures above. The maths is consistently reported as near-identical to Sweet Bonanza 1000. Why the Dice builds exist at all is less well documented, and this review says so rather than guessing.

How the game plays

Six reels, five rows, no paylines. A win is eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid, and the symbols are dice faces rather than fruit and sweets.

Winners vanish, the rest tumble down, new symbols fill the gaps, and the chain continues until a drop produces nothing. Four or more scatters trigger free spins, and the multiplier bombs appear only there.

Each bomb carries a value up to 1,000×. At the end of a tumble sequence every bomb on screen is summed and applied to that sequence’s win — not to the session, and not to anything that happened before the sequence began.

The story behind the game

Pragmatic maintains a set of Dice editions alongside its standard catalogue: Sweet Bonanza Dice, Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice, and dice builds of several other popular titles. They are the same games with the symbol set replaced by dice faces.

The widely repeated explanation is that these builds serve the Belgian market, where games are licensed in separate categories and dice iconography puts a title in the dice-game category rather than the slot category. We were not able to verify that from an authoritative source. The claim appears on low-authority sites, one of which contradicted itself in the same page, and we found no Pragmatic documentation or regulator publication confirming it. It is the most plausible explanation on offer and it may well be correct, but it is not something we can state as fact.

What is verifiable is the lineage. Sweet Bonanza 1000 arrived in June 2024 with the bomb cap raised to 1,000× and the ceiling at 25,000×. This dice build followed on 27 February 2025 carrying the same figures.

Symbols and paytable

Dice faces replace the fruit, but the ladder behaves exactly as the candy version does.

Pay anywhereEight or more matching dice symbols anywhere on the 6×5 grid. Position is irrelevant.
TumblesWinning symbols vanish, the rest fall, new ones fill the gaps. The chain runs until no new win forms.
Symbol ladderA premium-to-low ladder in the same shape as the original, with the top dice face paying the most.
ScattersFour or more anywhere trigger the free spins round. They do not need to be adjacent.
Free spinsAwarded as a block, with bombs active throughout and retriggers available.
Multiplier bombsFree-spins only, values up to 1,000×, summed across the screen and applied to that tumble sequence.
Ante betRaises the stake in exchange for a better scatter rate. It does not raise the ceiling.
Feature buyBuys direct entry to free spins where the operator permits it.

No gamble ladder and no jackpot. As with every game in this family, the base game exists mainly to find scatters.

Bonus features and free spins

🎲

Dice symbols, same maths

The visible difference is the symbol set. Everything underneath — grid, tumbles, scatter rules, bomb behaviour — reads identically to Sweet Bonanza 1000.

💣

Bombs up to 1,000×

Free-spins only, summed across the screen. The same cap as the candy version, and the reason both share a 25,000× ceiling.

🎯

Scatter pays, eight or more

No lines to study. Eight matching symbols anywhere pays, and tumbles let one paid spin produce a run of wins.

📈

A ceiling above the original Dice

25,000× against roughly 21,100× for the plain Sweet Bonanza Dice — the one real difference between the two dice builds.

⚠

Lower builds in wide circulation

Several sources quote 95.52% as the headline figure rather than the exception, which is unusual and worth checking before you play.

What we like

  • 96.53% at the top build is a good figure and matches Sweet Bonanza 1000 exactly.
  • The 25,000× ceiling is meaningfully above the roughly 21,100× of the plain Sweet Bonanza Dice.
  • The maths is a known, heavily refined model rather than an experiment — there are no surprises hiding in it.
  • Dice symbols are arguably easier to read at a glance than the candy set, particularly on a small screen.
  • The demo is complete, so comparing it directly against the candy version costs nothing.
What to watch

  • Several sources list 95.52% as the headline RTP, which suggests the lower build is common on this title rather than rare.
  • A build at 94.51% also exists, two full points below the figure on this page.
  • There is no gameplay reason to choose this over Sweet Bonanza 1000 — it is the same game with different art.
  • High volatility with everything loaded into free spins means long flat stretches in the base game.
  • The reason these Dice editions exist is not documented anywhere we could verify, which is unsatisfying for a game sold as a distinct title.

How Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice compares

The two Dice builds against the candy versions they are drawn from.

Sweet Bonanza 1000 DiceFeb 20251,000×25,000×96.53High
Sweet Bonanza 1000Jun 20241,000×25,000×96.53High

Sweet Bonanza 2500Apr 20262,500×25,000×96.52High

The pattern is clean: each Dice build mirrors its candy parent almost exactly, and the gap between the two Dice editions is the same gap as between the two candy editions. The symbol set is the variable; the maths is not.

Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice RTP, volatility and max win

Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice is published at more than one RTP. Several sources list 95.52% as the headline rather than the exception, which suggests the lower build is in wide circulation on this title. The figure on your screen is the only one that counts.

96.53%The top certified build, matching Sweet Bonanza 1000 exactly.
95.52%A lower certified build offered by some casinos.
94.51%The lowest build we found referenced — two full points under the headline.

96.53% is the top certified build, identical to Sweet Bonanza 1000. On its own that is a good number for this family.

There is a wrinkle here that is worth more attention than usual. On most Pragmatic titles the lower certified builds appear as footnotes, with the top figure quoted as the headline. On this game several sources quote 95.52% as the headline RTP outright, which suggests the lower build is not an exception but a common configuration on the casinos carrying it. A build at 94.51% exists below that.

The practical consequence is simple. On this title more than most, assume nothing from a review — ours included — and open the game’s own info panel before you stake anything. A game running at 94.51% keeps roughly 56% more of your money over time than the same game at 96.53%.

Bets, bankroll and session planning

Stakes start low and the ante bet and feature buy sit on top where the operator offers them. The ante raises your stake for a better scatter rate; the buy pays for immediate entry to free spins.

Neither raises the ceiling, and neither is a route to better value — they are ways of changing how long you wait. In the demo both are free, which makes this a good place to learn what a bonus round typically returns before paying for one.

Playing on mobile

The dice symbols are, if anything, a mobile improvement. Pips are high-contrast and distinguishable at small sizes in a way that similar-coloured sweets are not, and on a 6×5 grid in portrait that matters.

Everything else behaves as the rest of the family does: clean scaling, readable tumbles, one-handed controls, and a free-spins screen that gets busy when several bombs land together.

Five things to know before you spin

  1. Check the RTP before anything else on this title. Several sources quote 95.52% as the headline, which is a strong hint that the lower build is widely deployed here.
  2. The 1000 is the bomb cap, not the max win. The ceiling is 25,000×, and it is the same ceiling as Sweet Bonanza 2500 despite that game’s far larger cap.
  3. Do not expect the dice skin to change the game. Every source we checked describes the maths as near-identical to Sweet Bonanza 1000. Play both demos side by side if you want to confirm it.
  4. If you want the dice look with a lower ceiling, play the plain Sweet Bonanza Dice. It tops out around 21,100× and is the gentler of the two.
  5. Use free spins in the demo to calibrate. Trigger the bonus ten or fifteen times for nothing and note the spread. It is almost always wider and lower than people expect.

Who this slot is for

For players who like Sweet Bonanza 1000 and prefer the dice presentation, or who are playing somewhere that offers this build and not the candy one. The maths is good, the ceiling is the family’s higher one, and the top RTP is solid.

Not for anyone expecting a different game. This is a reskin, and an honest review has to say so — if you have played Sweet Bonanza 1000, you have played this.

Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice demo and slot FAQ

Can I play the Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice demo for free?
Yes — the demo above is the full game on play money, with no account and no deposit. Demo credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
Is Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice different from Sweet Bonanza 1000?
Visually, yes — the symbols are dice faces. Mechanically, every source we checked describes the two as near-identical: same grid, same tumbles, same 1,000× bomb cap, same 25,000× ceiling and the same top RTP.
Why do the Dice versions exist?
The common explanation is that they serve the Belgian market, where dice iconography places a game in a different licence category. We could not verify that from an authoritative source, so we are reporting it as the likely reason rather than a confirmed one.
What is the RTP?
96.53% on the top certified build, with 95.52% and 94.51% builds also certified. Unusually for this family, several sources quote 95.52% as the headline, so check the game’s info panel.
What is the maximum win?
25,000× your total bet — above the roughly 21,100× of the plain Sweet Bonanza Dice.
Is there a jackpot?
No. No fixed or progressive jackpot. Everything comes from the paytable, the tumbles and the bombs.
When was it released?
27 February 2025, about eight months after Sweet Bonanza 1000.

Our verdict on Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice

8.3/ 10

The same game with different pips, and one RTP warning worth heeding

There is no mystery here and it would be dishonest to manufacture one. Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice is Sweet Bonanza 1000 with dice faces. The grid, the tumbles, the scatter rules, the 1,000× bomb cap and the 25,000× ceiling all carry across unchanged, and the top RTP is identical to the hundredth.

What makes it worth a separate review is the RTP pattern. On most of this family the lower certified builds are a footnote. Here, several independent sources quote 95.52% as the headline figure rather than 96.53%, which is a fairly strong signal that the reduced build is in common circulation on the casinos offering it. That is a point of difference that actually affects your money, unlike the symbol set.

So: a good game, properly built, with a known model behind it. Play the demo to confirm it is the board you want, and then check the info panel at whatever casino you end up on, because on this title the gap between the best and worst available build is two full percentage points.
