The Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier demo runs the real game on play credits: the same 5×4 grid, the same 14 paylines, the same Fist Wild Reels and the same four bonus rounds. What changes is the balance. Demo credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and reset when you reload the page.

One thing the demo cannot tell you is which RTP build a casino has licensed. Hacksaw certifies this game at four settings between 96.23% and 86.28%, and the operator picks. The demo will usually run the headline build; the real-money game beside it may not.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier slot at a glance

ProviderHacksaw GamingHacksaw Gaming publishes a specification page for this title, and the RTP list, the 5/5 volatility rating, the 15,000× ceiling and the 17 September 2026 release date below are taken from it. The grid size, the payline count, the hit frequency and the stake range are not on that page; those come from the game’s own information screen as published by BigWinBoard, and are flagged where they appear.

VolatilityHigh (5/5)

Top line pay15,000× total betHacksaw’s published ceiling. Unusually, it is also reachable instantly: three Megamultiplier™ symbols landing together award the full 15,000× on the spot, without a bonus round.
JackpotNone — no jackpotNo jackpot of any kind, fixed or progressive. Everything the game pays comes out of the paytable and its features.

How the game plays

A five reel by four row grid with 14 fixed paylines paying left to right. Those two numbers are not on Hacksaw’s own specification page — they come from the game’s information screen — but Hacksaw does describe it in its own copy as a “5-reel, 4-row game with paylines wins”, which agrees.

Fourteen lines on a 20-position grid is a deliberately tight configuration, and it is the first clue to how the game behaves. The published hit frequency is 32.55%: roughly one paying spin in three, which is low, and low in a way that matches the 5/5 volatility rating rather than contradicting it.

The base game pays almost nothing on its own. Five matching royals across a line pay 2× the bet. The four Fighter symbols pay 5× to 10× for five of a kind. A full line of five Wilds pays 10×. Against a 15,000× ceiling those are rounding errors, and that is the point: the symbols exist to be converted, not to be collected.

The story behind the game

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier arrived on 17 September 2026, the first of six Hacksaw releases in a three-week run that also brought 3 Magic Piggy Banks, Dr Zappo, Le Vampire, Demonic Dolls and Wicked Grin. It is a sequel: the original Fist of Destruction has been around since 2024 and is still in our demo library.

The Megamultiplier™ suffix is the new part, and Hacksaw has been attaching it to existing titles as a branded upgrade rather than inventing a new series. What it adds here is a symbol with two jobs, which is covered in the feature list below.

Symbols and paytable

The symbol values are small enough that reading them in isolation is misleading. What matters is the multiplier range attached to the Fist Wild Reels, which is where the entire distribution lives.

Royals (10 to Ace)2× the bet for five across a line
Fighter symbols (four of them)5× to 10× for five of a kind
Wildappears on every reel, substitutes for regular pay symbols, 10× for a line of five
Fist symbolexpands into a Wild reel from its position upwards — but only if that creates at least one win
Fist Wild multiplierx2 to x200, added when the Fist passes an opposing Fighter or a Wild
Megamultiplier™ symbollands on reels 1, 3 and 5; three at once award the 15,000× max win instantly
Global Megamultiplier™x2 to x10, applied to the combined win at the end of each free spin
Scatter — 3Throwdown!, 10 free spins
Scatter — 4Ultimate Throwdown!, 10 free spins, both teams starting at Victory Level 4+
Scatter — 2 or 3 during free spins+2 or +4 extra spins

The line worth rereading is the Fist Wild multiplier: x2 to x200, and multiple passes stack. When several Fist Wild reels win together, their multipliers are added before being applied rather than multiplied, which sounds like a downgrade and is actually what keeps the game payable at a 32.55% hit rate.

Bonus features and free spins

💥

A Fist only expands if it would actually pay

This is the rule that separates the game from every other expanding-wild slot. A Fist symbol becomes a Wild reel from its own position up to the top of the reel — but only when doing so creates at least one winning combination. A Fist that would expand into nothing simply does not expand. One Fist per reel, maximum.

🥊

Multipliers are earned by what the Fist passes through

As a Fist expands it punches past whatever is above it. Each opposing-team Fighter or Wild it passes adds a multiplier of x2 to x200 to that Wild reel. Several passes on one reel stack. This is why the grid being only four rows tall matters: there is a hard limit on how much any single Fist can travel through.

🎯

Three Megamultiplier™ symbols pay the ceiling outright

They land on the leftmost, middle and rightmost reels in the base game and during BonusHunt FeatureSpins. Three at once award the full 15,000× immediately — no bonus, no sequence, no build-up. It is the rarest thing in the game and the only slot mechanic in this batch of six that pays the published maximum as a single event.

🥋

Four bonus rounds, split by whether a Megamultiplier™ came with the scatters

Three scatters give Throwdown!, 10 free spins where Red and Blue teams earn Victory Points for landing Fists on opposing Fighters or Wilds. Four scatters give Ultimate Throwdown!, the same round with both teams already at Victory Level 4+. Add a Megamultiplier™ symbol to either trigger and you get the Megamultiplier™ version instead, where every spin’s combined win is multiplied by x2 to x10.

💧

Victory Points buy Epic Drop respins

Three Victory Points win a team an Epic Drop respin and raise its Victory Level. Epic Drops guarantee 3, 4 or 5 Fists in the winning team’s colour at Victory Levels 3+, 4+ and 5+ respectively. Starting Ultimate Throwdown! at Level 4+ is therefore not a cosmetic difference — it is a guaranteed four-Fist drop the moment a team scores.

What we like

  • 15,000× is a genuinely large published ceiling, and uniquely here it is reachable as a single base-game event rather than only through a bonus.
  • The conditional expansion rule — a Fist only expands when it would create a win — removes the dead-wild frustration that most expanding-symbol games live with.
  • x2 to x200 per multiplier, stacking, gives the bonus rounds a long upper tail without needing a progressive meter or a collection mechanic.
  • Four distinct bonus rounds from two scatter counts, split cleanly by whether a Megamultiplier™ symbol arrived with them. It is more variety than a 14-line game usually carries.
  • The demo is the whole game. Every feature here, including the Megamultiplier™ symbols and all four bonuses, is reachable on play credits with no account.
What to watch

  • A 32.55% hit frequency is the lowest of the six Hacksaw releases in this run. Two spins in three return nothing at all, and the base-game pays when they do land are tiny.
  • 5 out of 5 volatility is Hacksaw’s own rating, not ours, and it is the only game among these six it rates that high. Treat the published RTP as a very long-run figure.
  • The RTP spread is just under ten points. At 86.28% this is a materially different proposition, and nothing on screen tells you which build you are on.
  • Base symbol values are almost decorative — 2× for five royals, 10× for five Wilds. Without Fists in play the grid does very little.
  • Feature buys run to 275× for Ultimate Throwdown!, which is a heavy price on a game this volatile and is not available in every market.

How Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier compares

Against the two closest comparisons we have reviewed — both from studios that build for the same high-volatility audience — and against the Pragmatic game that shares its exact ceiling.

GameStudioRTP (top build)VolatilityMax winGrid

Two of those four stop within a few hundred times of each other at the top, which tells you 15,000× is where this tier of game currently settles. What separates Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is the route: Gates of Olympus 1000 gets there by stacking multipliers through a tumble sequence, this one can simply land three symbols and stop.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier RTP, volatility and max win

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is published at more than one RTP. Four certified builds, and the casino chooses which one it runs. The spread here is just under ten percentage points, which is wide even by Hacksaw’s standards. On a 5/5 volatility game where almost all the return is locked up in the bonus, the lower builds are not a slightly worse version of the same game — they are a different game with the same artwork.

96.23%the headline build, and the one Hacksaw leads with
94.29%nearly two points down — common at casinos that configure for margin
92.28%almost four points below the headline
86.28%ten points below the headline, and the one to walk away from

96.23% is the highest of four certified builds. The others are 94.29%, 92.28% and 86.28%, and the casino chooses which it runs. That is standard practice at Hacksaw and it is published openly on the studio’s own page, which is more than most studios do — but it does mean the number in a review is a ceiling, not a promise.

96.23% sits just under the broad industry average for video slots. Paired with a 32.55% hit frequency and a 5/5 volatility rating, it describes a game that returns most of its money rarely and in large pieces. A demo session of a few hundred spins will very probably finish below the headline figure, and that is the expected behaviour rather than a fault.

If you move to real money, the in-game information screen states the active RTP. It is worth opening before the first spin.

Bets, bankroll and session planning

Stakes run from 0.10 to 50 per spin according to the game’s information screen — a narrower range than most of this batch, and notably lower at the top than the 400 ceiling on 3 Magic Piggy Banks. On a 15,000× game that keeps the theoretical maximum payout inside sane limits.

Four feature buys are offered where regulation allows them: BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3× the bet, which makes each spin five times more likely to trigger a bonus; Uppercut FeatureSpins at 50×, guaranteeing at least three Fists land; Epic Drop FeatureSpins at 250×, guaranteeing at least four; and direct buys of Throwdown! at 110× and Ultimate Throwdown! at 275×. Feature buys are prohibited in the UK and several other markets, so they will not appear everywhere.

Playing on mobile

A 5×4 grid is the easiest shape to fit on a phone, and this one fills a portrait screen without shrinking the symbols to the point where the Fighter art stops being readable. That matters more than usual here, because telling an opposing-team Fighter from your own is how you read where a Fist is about to gain multipliers.

The Fist expansion animation is the one place where a slower handset shows strain, since several reels can expand in sequence. Nothing is lost if it stutters — the wins resolve regardless — but the turbo setting is worth leaving off the first few times so you can actually see which Fighters got punched through.

Five things to know before you spin

  1. Watch which team’s Fighters sit above a Fist. A Fist only gains multipliers by passing an opposing Fighter or a Wild, so the same Fist in the same position is worth very different amounts depending on what is stacked above it.
  2. Do not read a dead Fist as a bug. A Fist that would not create a win does not expand at all. That is the published rule, and it is why some spins show a Fist and nothing happens.
  3. Expect the base game to be quiet. At a 32.55% hit rate with 2× royals, long stretches of nothing are the design, not bad luck. Judge the game on what the bonuses do.
  4. Check the RTP before playing for money. Four builds, a spread of nearly ten points, and only the in-game information screen will tell you which one you are on.
  5. Treat the 275× Ultimate Throwdown! buy with suspicion. On a 5/5 volatility game a single bought round can return nothing, and 275× is a lot of base-game spins to give up for one of them.

Who this slot is for

For players who already know they like the extreme end — the Nolimit City and Hacksaw audience, where two-thirds of spins returning nothing is accepted as the cost of a long upper tail. If that describes you, the instant 15,000× symbol is a genuinely novel reason to try this over the original Fist of Destruction.

It is the wrong game for a small balance, for a casual session, or for anyone who wants the base game to be entertaining in its own right. Three of the other five Hacksaw releases from this same three-week run are rated 3/5 for volatility and will be far kinder company.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier demo and slot FAQ

Can I play the Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier demo for free?
Yes. The demo on this page runs the full game on play credits — the same 5×4 grid, the same 14 paylines, the same Fist Wild Reels and all four bonus rounds. There is no account, no deposit and no download.
What is the RTP of Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier?
Hacksaw Gaming certifies four builds: 96.23%, 94.29%, 92.28% and 86.28%. The casino decides which one it runs, so the figure can differ between sites. The game’s own information screen states the active setting.
What is the maximum win?
15,000× your total bet, published by Hacksaw. Three Megamultiplier™ symbols landing together award it instantly, without a bonus round.
How volatile is it?
Hacksaw rates it 5 out of 5, the highest rating it gives and the only 5/5 among its six September–October 2026 releases. The published hit frequency is 32.55%, so roughly two spins in three return nothing.
How do the free spins work?
Three scatters trigger Throwdown! and four trigger Ultimate Throwdown!, both awarding 10 free spins. If a Megamultiplier™ symbol lands with the scatters you get the Megamultiplier™ version instead, where each spin’s combined win is multiplied by x2 to x10.
Is this the same game as Fist of Destruction?
No. Fist of Destruction is Hacksaw’s 2024 original and is in our demo library separately. Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is the September 2026 sequel, and the Megamultiplier™ symbols are what it adds.
Can I win real money playing the demo?
No. Demo credits have no cash value, so a demo win cannot be withdrawn and a demo loss costs nothing. 18+.

Our verdict on Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier

7.5/ 10

A ceiling you can hit in one spin, on a game that will rarely let you

Most slots with a five-figure multiplier make you assemble it. Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier will do that too — stacked Fist multipliers through a Megamultiplier™ bonus is the long way round — but it also lets three symbols land in the base game and simply pay the maximum. That is an unusual design choice and it is the reason to pick this over the 2024 original.

The price is written plainly on the specification page: 5 out of 5 for volatility, a 32.55% hit frequency, and base symbols that pay 2× to 10× for five of a kind. Nothing about that is hidden, and the conditional Fist expansion is a genuinely thoughtful piece of design rather than a gimmick. But this is the hardest of Hacksaw’s six recent releases to recommend casually, and the four-build RTP spread of nearly ten percentage points means the version you meet at a casino may be some way from the one reviewed here.

Play the demo first. On this game more than most, the demo is where you find out whether you have the patience for it.
