Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice slot by Pragmatic Play — game artwork

The Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice demo is the dice build of Gates of Olympus 1000, and the number that matters is the multiplier cap: 1,000× here, against 500× on the original engine. That one change is what takes the ceiling from 5,000× to 15,000× while the return stays at 96.50%, exactly where every game in this series sits. Everything else is carried over whole — the 6×5 grid, the eight-or-more pay-anywhere rule, the tumbles, the four-scatter trigger and the fifteen free spins. Dice replace the gems and Zeus is redrawn in pastels. Fruityslots, which published the only full specification we could find, called it a reskin of a proven engine and said there was no mechanical reason to be here, and that is a fair summary. The one genuine caution is that Pragmatic publishes no game page for this title at all, so every figure on this page comes from a database rather than the studio.

More on the figures above.Pragmatic Play publishes no game page for this title — its site carries pages for Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000, Gates of Olympus Dice and others, but not for this one, so unlike most reviews on this site there is no studio source to quote. The 96.50% RTP, the 15,000× ceiling, the high volatility reading, the 6×5 scatter-pays grid, the 20 February 2025 release date, the 0.20–240 bet range, the 100× bonus buy, the four-scatter trigger and the complete 2×–1,000× multiplier ladder are all from Fruityslots, which rates the game 7.1 out of 10. Comparison figures for the other Gates titles are from our own published reviews of them.

How the game plays

Six reels, five rows, no paylines: eight or more matching symbols anywhere in view pay, winning symbols are removed, and new ones tumble in to fill the gaps. Multiplier symbols land on any of the six reels carrying one of sixteen published values — 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 6×, 8×, 10×, 12×, 15×, 20×, 25×, 50×, 100×, 250×, 500× or 1,000× — and they are added together rather than multiplied by one another. Four or more Scatters anywhere award fifteen free spins, and three or more during the round add five more. The free spins are where the engine earns its reputation: multipliers no longer clear between spins but build into a single running total that applies to every win for the rest of the round. A bonus that runs long and collects several large multiplier symbols is the only realistic route to the top of the paytable.

The story behind the game

Gates of Olympus 1000 arrived in 2024 as the sequel that doubled the multiplier cap, and this dice edition followed on 20 February 2025. Pragmatic maintains a dice line for the Belgian market, rolled out through operators including Peppermill, Hotwin and Bingoal, and its own executives have described dice games as a Belgian speciality; one Belgian operator says the category is authorised under a B+ licence, though that is operator marketing rather than a published rule. What makes this particular build slightly odd is its place in the sequence. The studio reskinned the 2021 original in February 2024, then the 1000 a year later, and then Super Scatter in October 2026 — so the dice line now tracks the main series one title at a time, roughly a year behind. There are three Gates dice games and no sign the pattern has stopped.

The last row is the unusual one. Pragmatic maintains game pages for Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000, Gates of Olympus Dice, Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000 and others, but not for this title — so where most reviews on this site can anchor at least the RTP to the studio, this one cannot. The published multiplier ladder partly makes up for it: sixteen exact values is more detail than Pragmatic itself usually prints.

Bonus features and free spins

🔮

A 1,000× cap, and what it is worth

The single change from Gates of Olympus Dice is the top multiplier: 1,000× rather than 500×. The ceiling moves from 5,000× to 15,000× — three times, not two — because multipliers are additive and a long bonus can collect several large ones. Doubling the cap more than doubles what the tail of the distribution can reach.

✨

Sixteen published multiplier values

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000. Having the exact ladder rather than just a range is genuinely useful: the gaps widen sharply at the top, so the difference between a good round and an exceptional one is usually whether a single 250× or above has landed, not how many small ones did.

🎲

Dice and pastels

Dice replace the gems and Zeus is redrawn in candy pastels rather than storm colours. That is the whole visual change, and it is the whole change. Fruityslots put it bluntly — same grid, same pays, same maths as the existing 1000 build — and nothing in the specification contradicts that.

💰

A buy at 100×, and what it costs

The bonus buy is 100× the total bet, which is 20.00 at the 0.20 minimum and 24,000 at the 240 maximum. Worth stating in cash because a 100× buy on an engine whose median bonus does not return its cost is the fastest way to turn a high-volatility game into a very short session.

⚡

Accumulating bonus multipliers

In the base game a multiplier applies to the win in front of it and clears. In free spins nothing clears: every value lands into a running total that applies to all subsequent wins. This is why retriggers matter so much on this engine — five more spins late in a round are worth far more than five at the start.

What we like

  • 15,000× is three times the ceiling of the original engine and of Gates of Olympus Dice, on the same 96.50% return.
  • The full multiplier ladder is published — sixteen exact values, which is more than Pragmatic prints for most of its own games.
  • 96.50% matches the whole series, so the dice build is not being used to quietly cut the return.
  • Multipliers land on all six reels and accumulate through the entire bonus without resetting.
  • The engine is thoroughly proven — this is the most-played slot template of the last five years with a year of dice-build history on top.
  • A wide 0.20 to 240 bet range covers both ends of the market on a game that suits small, long sessions.
What to watch

  • Pragmatic publishes no game page for this title, so every figure here — including the RTP — comes from a database rather than the studio.
  • Nothing is mechanically new. Fruityslots, the only full source, says plainly that there is no mechanical reason to be here.
  • No RTP ladder is published either, which does not mean there is only one build — the rest of this series has several, and one of them was observed live at 95.51% on the plain Dice edition.
  • The 100× buy is expensive on an engine where most bonuses do not return their cost.
  • High volatility with no studio rating behind it; the reading is the database’s.
  • It sits a year behind the main series, so dice players are always playing last year’s release.

How Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice compares

Against the build it reskins, the other Gates dice game, and the rest of the series.

Gates of Olympus 250096.51%High25,000× total bet2,500×
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter96.50%High50,000× total bet500×

Rows one and two are the same game, as expected. The useful comparison is row three: the two Gates dice builds are identical except for the multiplier cap, and that single difference is worth 10,000× of ceiling. If your operator carries both, there is no argument for the plain Dice edition — same return, same volatility band, a third of the top end. Super Scatter remains the outlier that proves the cap is not the only lever: it reaches 50,000× on a 500× cap, because its instant prizes bypass the multiplier system altogether.

Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice RTP, volatility and max win

96.50% is the figure every database carries for this title and it is in line with the entire Gates of Olympus family — the original, the 1000, the Super Scatter and the plain Dice build all sit at 96.50%, and only Gates of Olympus 2500 differs, at 96.51%. Against the wider archive it is a good number, a little above the 96.28% median across the 241 reviews on this site. It needs one caveat that the sources do not give it. Pragmatic publishes no page for this game, and Fruityslots lists 96.50% as the only build — but an absence of published alternatives is not evidence that none exist. The rest of this series demonstrably ships at several certified levels: Gates of Olympus 2500 runs at 96.52%, 95.50% and 94.50%, and on the plain Gates of Olympus Dice a live casino was recorded serving 95.51% against an advertised 96.50%. It would be unusual for this one title to be the exception. The honest position is that one build is documented, others are likely, and the in-game information screen is the only place the installed figure appears. Volatility is given as high by the database; Pragmatic publishes no rating for any game in this series, so there is no studio figure to set against it. The structure justifies the label — an additive multiplier that accumulates across a whole bonus round concentrates value into a handful of long features. The 15,000× ceiling is the headline difference from the plain dice build, and the arithmetic behind it is clean: the multiplier cap doubles from 500× to 1,000×, and because the values are added rather than multiplied, a round that collects two or three large symbols scales further than the doubling alone suggests. Three times the ceiling for twice the cap is exactly what that produces.

Bets, bankroll and session planning

Fruityslots lists the bet range as 0.20 to 240.00 per spin and the bonus buy at 100× the total bet — 20.00 at the minimum stake, 24,000 at the maximum. Pragmatic publishes no figures of its own for this title, so there is nothing to check these against.

Playing on mobile

The demo above runs in a phone browser with no app and no download. The pay-anywhere grid needs no payline tracing, which keeps a 6×5 layout readable on a small screen, though the accumulated multiplier total is the one thing worth watching for and it is small on a phone.

Five things to know before you spin

  1. The cap is the only difference from the plain Dice edition. 1,000× against 500×, and it is worth 10,000× of ceiling.
  2. Bonus multipliers never reset. A retrigger late in a round is worth far more than the same five spins at the start, because the running total is already built.
  3. One large multiplier beats many small ones. The published ladder jumps 100, 250, 500, 1,000 at the top — whether a single big symbol lands is what decides a round.
  4. Open the information screen for the RTP. Only one build is documented, but the rest of this series ships several and one was observed live a full point down.
  5. The 100× buy is 24,000 at max stake. Worth seeing in cash rather than as a multiple before using it.
  6. No studio page exists for this game. Every figure you read about it, here included, traces back to a database.

Who this slot is for

For dice-market players who want the 1000 engine rather than the original — which should be all of them, since the return is identical and the ceiling is three times higher. It is a high-volatility game that pays through long bonus rounds, so it suits small stakes and patience rather than a short session at a big bet.

Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice demo and slot FAQ

Can I play the Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice demo for free?
Yes. The demo on this page runs the full game on play credits — the same 6×5 pay-anywhere grid, the same 2× to 1,000× multipliers and the same fifteen free spins. No account, no deposit, no download.
What is the RTP?
96.50%, which every database carries and which matches the rest of the Gates of Olympus family. Pragmatic publishes no page for this title, so there is no studio figure to confirm it — check the in-game information screen wherever you play.
What is the maximum win?
15,000× the total bet, per Fruityslots. That is three times the 5,000× of the original engine and of Gates of Olympus Dice, and it follows from the multiplier cap doubling to 1,000×.
How is it different from Gates of Olympus 1000?
Visually, dice replace the gems and Zeus is redrawn in pastels. Mechanically, nothing — the same grid, the same pays and the same maths, in the source’s own words.
How is it different from Gates of Olympus Dice?
The multiplier cap. This build tops out at 1,000× where the plain Dice edition stops at 500×, and the ceiling is 15,000× against 5,000×. Return and volatility are otherwise the same.
What are the multiplier values?
Sixteen of them: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000×. They land on all six reels and are added together rather than multiplied by one another.
Is there a bonus buy?
Yes, at 100× the total bet — 20.00 at the 0.20 minimum stake and 24,000 at the 240 maximum. Availability depends on your market.
Why does a dice version exist?
It is a market-specific build. Pragmatic has rolled its dice collection out through Belgian operators including Peppermill, Hotwin and Bingoal, and its executives describe dice games as a Belgian speciality. One operator says the category is authorised under a B+ licence, which is marketing rather than a published rule.

Our verdict on Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice

7.6/ 10

The right dice build to pick — and the only Gates game with no studio page at all

If you are going to play a Gates of Olympus dice edition, play this one. It returns the same 96.50% as the plain Dice build, runs the same grid, the same tumbles and the same accumulating bonus multiplier, and reaches 15,000× where that one stops at 5,000×. The difference is a single number — a 1,000× multiplier cap against 500× — and because the values are added rather than multiplied, doubling the cap triples the ceiling. There is no argument for the smaller build if an operator carries both. What this is not is a new game. Fruityslots, the only source that published a full specification, called it a reskin of a proven engine and said there was no mechanical reason to be here, and nothing in the figures disagrees: dice in place of gems, Zeus in pastels, same grid, same pays, same maths. The sixteen published multiplier values are the one place it is better documented than most of the series, and they are worth reading — the ladder jumps 100, 250, 500, 1,000 at the top, which tells you that a round is decided by whether one large symbol lands, not by how many small ones do. The caution is sourcing. Pragmatic keeps game pages for the original, the 1000, the plain Dice edition and the Xmas build, but not for this one, so every number on this page — the RTP included — comes from a database. One build is documented; the rest of this family demonstrably ships several, and on the plain Dice edition a casino was recorded running a full point below the advertised figure. Treat 96.50% as what the databases say rather than what you are guaranteed, and open the information screen before you play.
