Eternal Diamonds is a five-reel, three-row slot with fifty paylines, and the base game is deliberately old-fashioned: three or more matching symbols from the leftmost reel, reading left to right. The symbols are retro classics — card royals, single, double and triple bars, cherries, horseshoes, bells and sevens — against a Las Vegas skyline of borrowed landmarks.
The line pays are small, and it is worth being precise about the unit. SlotCatalog’s paytable gives the red seven at 3.75× the bet for five, the golden bell at 2.50× and the royals at 1.25×. Those are multiples of the total stake, not of a line bet, and on fifty lines they are modest by design. The base game is not where the money is; it is where the chips are collected.
Three chip colours land in the base game — blue, red and green — and each is collected into its own pot above the reels. When chips land there is a chance the respin feature triggers, and the colours that triggered it decide which modifiers run. Blue is tied to multipliers, red to the expanding modifier, green to extra respins. One, two or all three can be active at once.
Inside the respin round the reel set changes completely. Only chips, money symbols and blanks can land. You start with three respins; every money symbol or chip that lands is sticky and resets the counter back to three. When the respins run out, every value on the screen is added together and paid. The story behind the game
The three-pot respin format did not start at Pragmatic Play. It started as a niche mechanic, spread through the industry over about five years, and is now something close to a standard — a base game that exists to feed a collection, and a respin round where sticky money symbols accumulate until the reels stop giving.
Pragmatic has built a great many of them: Treasures of Osiris in February 2026, Triple Pot Plinko and its variants, and a long line of money-symbol games before that stretching back to Wolf Gold in 2017, which used a three-jackpot collection round years before the format had a name.
Eternal Diamonds is a conventional example dressed extremely well. The retro symbol set is a deliberate choice — sevens and bars against a Vegas skyline, rather than the fantasy art most of the studio’s 2026 releases carry — and SlotCatalog dates the release to 30 August 2026, with a wide release on 10 September. BigWinBoard published its review on the same 10 September. Our own catalogue first records it as playable on 14 September, which is the aggregator’s date rather than the studio’s.
What separates it from the rest of the format is not the skin. It is the frequency. At roughly one feature per 99 spins, this is a three-pot game that actually gives you the three pots.

What is not here: free spins in the usual sense, a gamble, a wheel, or a progressive jackpot. Everything this game does happens inside the respin round, and every award comes out of the paytable rather than a pooled fund.

Blue chips feed multipliers, red chips feed the expanding modifier, green chips feed extra respins. Whichever colours triggered the round decide which modifiers are live, and chips collected during the round can switch on the ones that were not.

Three buy prices
50× the bet starts the round with at least one modifier, 150× with two or three, and 250× guarantees all three from the first respin. BigWinBoard and SlotCatalog both list the same ladder.

Two columns, two opposite verdicts. On feature frequency Eternal Diamonds wins the table outright — a respin round every 99 spins against 300 to 440 for everything else Pragmatic shipped this month. On max-win probability it loses the table by an order of magnitude: 1 in 25 million, against 1 in 1,024,194 for Coven Rising and 1 in 887,784 for Treasures of Osiris.
The Osiris row is the instructive one, because the two games have almost the same feature frequency — 1 in 100 against 1 in 99 — and a maximum win 28 times easier to reach on the older title, for half the headline. What they also agree on is that there are three certified builds: 96.50%, 95.60% and 94.60%. The spacing is slightly unusual — nine tenths of a point between steps, where Gates of Olympus 2500, Freya 1000 and Coven Rising all step by a full point — but the practical consequence is identical. The bottom build returns 1.90 less per hundred staked than the top one, and no part of the game tells you which you have. The information screen at your casino does.
Volatility. Medium, and unusually this is the studio’s own rating rather than a database estimate: SlotCatalog reports that Pragmatic rates the game at three lightning bolts out of a possible five in-game. The maths supports it. Wins land once in every 3.56 spins, the feature arrives once in 99, and the line pays are small and flat — that is a medium-volatility distribution with a very long right tail bolted on.
Maximum win. 20,000× your total bet per BigWinBoard and SlotCatalog. Pragmatic’s page does not state a maximum win; what it states is the grid-fill award of 10,000×, which is exactly half. The other half has to come from the symbol values and the multipliers sitting on them: fifteen positions carrying money values up to 125× with multipliers up to x100 applied on top is how a round reaches 20,000×, and filling the grid is the requirement rather than the reward.
BigWinBoard puts that outcome at 1 in 25,000,000 spins. It is the steepest figure in Pragmatic’s September slate by more than an order of magnitude, and the right way to read it is as a boundary on the distribution rather than a target. If reaching a headline number matters to you, the numbers in the comparison table above point somewhere else.
Bets, bankroll and session planning
The bet range is 0.20 to 240 a spin per SlotCatalog and BigWinBoard — Pragmatic’s house standard, and the figure you set is the total bet across all fifty lines, not a per-line stake.
Session planning here is easier than on most of the studio’s catalogue, and that is the argument for the game.
